Tracks you think should host TM Canon events
I'd say:
Eight Bowl (I don't mind crapshoot races as long as they keep my attention, which they usually do)
Thornton (because Thornton, that's why. yes, I do realize how hard it would be to make a recap for)
Bethesdaring AKA Imolaring (same as above, being awesome is reason enough)
Laguna Seca (It would be awesome to see the TMMC guys tackle the corkscrew)
Rushmore Scenic Byway (why the hell not? Streets of New York wouldn't happen ever, and it has a TMMC race date)
Daytona Beach Course (could be repurposed to take place somewhere else)
Whatever that valcano track from a while ago was called (I think Ceej made it, but I am not sure): who said the Canon had to be 100% realistic? Batshit insanity has it's place too. (usually in ARLA drivers, not that I am complaining)

Eight Bowl: ARLA Ran that in 2009 and originally passed it off as Buffalo Downs, Ceej later retconned that.Pyrozooka0 wrote:I'd say:

Thornton: are you high?
Bethesdaring: see above
Laguna Seca: I think Ceej ran there once (I think before he actually started the series though.)
Rushmore Scenic Byway: don't think it'll happen.
Daytona Beach Course: see above
Lava Mountain: see Thornton

Rattlesnake Point: I think that's what it's called. It needs a few tweaks on sandbox, one of the corners near the back needs to be wider as everyone runs wide off it. Other than that I think it's quite a good track.

Any track from Race Track Central (now at Race Car Central) rocks.
So does all of the Kurt Morgan / Fortine tracks.

There isn't a final version of either of those tracks, unless you want to use the unfinished Beta Montreal at RevampedReloaded or the glitchy as all hell GPL Monza.
Also, I second what Dan said about some of those suggestions. I really hope those were April Fools jokes. Why on earth would you run any sort of TM canon race at Fire Mountain?

Re: Tracks you think should host TM Canon events
I think Thornton could actually be pretty interesting for a canon race, with some tweaks in sandbox to make it more realistic (like putting a guardrail in front of that gargantuan quarry, or just getting rid of it all together).

The Kurt Morgan speedway/road courses are not an option. They're pretty dumb.
The only reasonable suggestion in here (other than saying tracks from a certain site...) so far is Rattlesnake Point... and the reason Circuit Gilles Villeneuve isn't is because there is a glitch spot in turn 1 that causes NR to crash... that and the track is really dull in NR...

Bristol - I know it did host a TM Lights Race once, but it's just an awesome track. In my opinion, it should be used more often for TM-Canon Races.
Phoenix - I'm not sure it's hosted any kind of Canon Race before, so could this be a good option of track?
Cleveland - I hope someone agrees with me on this one, this track feels lonely, so I think it should have a chance.

Cleveland hosted Formula Overdrive last year, so that's had some usage.
I'd like to see Phoenix and Richmond used in the TM Canon. I'd totally like to see Joshua Tree used as well... because that track isn't pain. At all.

What I meant by Cleveland was the same thing I said about Bristol, I know it has already been used but I think it should be used more often that they are right now.
Re: Tracks you think should host TM Canon events
I also really wanna see Bumpdrafin SS get a place on a TM-Canon Schedule, along with Dover and Nashville too.

Nashville will be race two of the Formula Overdrive race this season, and Dover was used for RROL. I considered using Bumpdraftin' SS for the Dash Cup season finale in 2012, but I chose New York Autoring instead.
Also, I agree, Cleveland should be used more. I also think Sebring should be used a big more, while on the topic of American roadies

My opinions on the tracks you've suggested!
Michigan International- Kind of like the old Blue Ridge Speedway.
Quincy (With an edit)- I would like to know how hard it would be, to put Lights around the track
Barber Motorsports Park- This would be interesting for TMMC
Pocono- I would like to see Pocono 2012 be incarnated into the canon
VIR- It would be interesting

That is one of my favorite moments from ARLA, and now that Team Burr and The "Racing" Team are around, a return would only be even better.
where can I find out more about this north point track? No luck on google.

COTA doesn't exist for N2003 (yet).
Eldora is on the ARLA (and NRC) schedule this year.

Re: Tracks you think should host TM Canon events
As cool as it would be to have one of the Bethesdaring on any of the TM-Canon series' schedules, I admit it's really more suited for online racing than anything else, and if any offline event were to be run there it would probably be best for sportscars, maybe Indycars.
I love Oldring, but for NR2003 it's not as good as it could be; AI like to go off on the last ess before the front stretch.
I like Thornton, but without some significant edits it probably won't happen.
There is a version of Monza that is the 10k layout with the oval, AI runs fairly well except on one corner. Some playing around with the .ini file could probably fix that.
Columbia is on the NRC schedule (yay!), and that's one track I'll constantly edit until it's perfect.

I was thinking something like a one-off (possibly non championship) enduro at the Bethesdaring resembling the nurburgring 24 hours with the TMMC or with a canon version of IMSA like the Limerock 6 hours.

At some point I'll get a new computer, when that happens ill have the horsepower to get good framerates with Fraps and I'll do an endurance race there. If I have time maybe a sports prototype series as well. Right now I wouldn't be able to do it justice.
There will be two alternate configurations as well, one that avoids the banking and is a bit more modern, and a shorter GP-Strecke.
