(IDEA) NASCAR Alt Universe chmpionship.
this is an idea I had a while back, sort of a "what if..." championship
1.) In 1999 NASCAR implemented the safety measures that they real NASCAR did in 2001, this was mainly due to the Greg Moore Crash. This means that Earnhardt,Irwin,Petty,Roper, and Alexander all survived there crashes.
2.) Development drivers (Part of the reason I think the NWS is so ****ed up) didn't really happen.
3.) 2006 was a BIG Year for NASCAR, three of its biggest drivers (Earnhardt,Martin,And Terry Labonte all retire) Childress decides to consolidate his three car team of the #3,#29,#31, to just the #3 (Of Harvick) and #31 (Who later becomes Jeff Burton), Martin's retirement leaves a void at Roush and ends up the team has 4 cars and only 3 sponsors, so they sell the #97 team to Clarence Brewer, who had already pulled off a massive upset in 2004 when Jamie McMurray won Charlotte that year. McMurray FINALLY Goes fulltime. Hendrick ends up signing the 2005 NWS Champ Clint Bowyer
4.) 2007 is the Year Kyle Bush finally overcomes the shadow of his brother and signs a contract with Joe Gibbs, in 2005 Gibbs signed a promising young Short Track driver from Virginia to his BGN team and now has two of the brightest and most controversial young guns in NASCAR
not much else happening in the next 4 years.

Well Kurt Busch is still with Roush, may be it took Carl a lot longer to get to cup.pennst24 wrote:>Carl Edwards

Actually I felt like I needed another ROTY to go against Sorenson and Gaughn, but on the other hand, I did have Kyle Staying at roush a lil' longer and thus denying Carl his big break and thus eventually delaying his cup career.
Though it does seem a lil' long now that you say it that way....

Re: (IDEA) NASCAR Alt Universe chmpionship.
An alternate universe Cup Series needs this for theme music:

It's an alternate universe, it doesn't have to make sense
(I think this needs to be a offline league)
