RG#18: Can't believe some of the reaction I'm hearing about Talladega coming back in ARLA. We're race car drivers. You could be killed in a crash going into turn one at Karjala. The risk is always there. But, you suck it up and race.

GLMtrspts'12: I think I just lost a little respect for @LanceCh44. Doesn't matter why someone doesn't want to race event. If they don't want to run, they shouldn't be forced too. Personally, the New York race is only happening cause the MCMA is trying to get back in Schoffner's good graces by getting him something he wanted for the sport.

DanielLeckliter6211: I know I raced in Michigan, but I'll apply for the New York race, having @TIMmy pull out just because of someone's political party is just childish, I may not agree with Bloomberg either, but at least I don't let it affect my racing career, because no matter where you go in the world, you're not going to agree with everybody, so if you're going to let politics run the way you live, you need to get out of the sport.

BenAtkins84: Boy, I'd kill to race at New York. Some people are just so ungrateful for the opportunities they get. I've been seeing it more and more in racing recently, and it just pisses me off. If you get a chance to be in a big race, or if you get a good ride, don't throw it away due to your selfishness, grasp it with both hands and appreciate how lucky you are.

james29davison: I don't think anyone could bet a chance Talladega ain't as dangerous as New York Autoring since the TM Lights is going there later in the season.

Azurepower46: @RG#18 agreed. One bad accident at a track and people are scared to go back there. The same thing could happen anywhere, but as racers we know the risk and accept it. One bad crash at a track isn't gonna stop me from going back there.

Azurepower46: What does scare me is that half of the drivers in ARLA are lethal weapons behind the wheel of a race car. It also doesn't help that the current ARLA car is flimsy as hell. Those car aren't built to run on superspeedways. Freestone's injuries were a result of the car's inability to take high speed impacts. Had it been the old car, I'm sure the wreck would have been easier on Freestone.

alexisrainsford: I feel safer going 240 at Indy than I ever did at Talladega going 200. #justsayin

VJAY42: I have seen the New York Autoring before, I don't like that pit exit wall. So I actually think Talladega is safer than New York.
