Rossini acquire Isanni, preparations begin
"All is ready" according to Giuseppe Marchetti, after the recent purchase of the newly introduced Isanni. After a turbulent year Marchetti placed 20th in his US debut season, after claiming a victory at Ohio, but his season fell away only 3 races into the season, which left him further down the order than he hoped. "It was disappointment for the sexiest man alive to only finish 20th," said the 24 year old Italian, "but for 2013 the women will rejoice as The Italian Dream claims 1st place!"

Marchetti has enjoyed relative success in junior racing, with 3 wins in Euro Formula B and placing 2nd in the 2011 edition of the Italian Formula C championship behind current TM Master Cup driver, Alessandro Rossini. Former Formula A driver turned team owner, Romano Rossini has commented that "all is ready, sponsors are signed, driver is signed, chassis is signed and we await the confirmation for a return year with the National Racing Championship".

Tuttle Announces Factory Support for Teams Running, Tarheel, Monaco

After deliberation, Tuttle Motors has decided that it will provide support for NRC teams running the Tarheel and Monaco models.

"We originally were going only provide factory backing for one team, but since there's only two or three teams running our brand we eventually agreed that we'd be able to do such for all of them," a company spokesperson said to the press.

Tuttle will not provide pre-built cars and engines, but will provide instead all the parts and components necessary to build the car and engine, along with an engineer to act as support and liaison. Teams have the option to make their own components if they choose to. Tuttle will also replace any o their provided parts should they break on their own (blown motor, suspension failure, etc.) but would not replace damaged components due to driver error, taking a page out of Lycoia's handbook (figuratively speaking).

"Our goal is to eventually field cars in TM Master Cup competition. But right now we're starting small where we can. We want to develop long lasting partnerships with race teams and win championships."

Tuttle has also expressed interest in open wheel and sports car competition, although stock car racing seems to be their focus right now.

In other news, AWR will return in the #44 Monaco, retaining its Milliken sponsorship. Team owner Alex Whitt said that they will remain a one car team this season, although they may enter a second car in any one off events on the schedule.

TDR Gets Jump Start on Offseason Testing

Tom Delgado Racing beat their opponents to the track, having already finalized everything for the 2013 season. NRC rookie Fernando Matos was seen on track at Carbondale this morning testing the team's Inglesby. Matos struggled as far as times go, posting a personal best of 25.122 (113.208 mph), but was said to be happy with how the car was performing.

"Fernando looked a bit reluctant out there, but as he gets used to the ovals here, he'll become a bit more aggressive. What matters is that we found out a little bit about how the car is going to handle on a long run. We'll continue to test during the week, and hopefully we can get some more speed out of it and get him under the 25 second barrier" Tom Delgado said as he watched Matos go around the track.

Wilson ready to rebound from mediocre 2012; team shuts down the 06, clamming lack of sponsership

FAC driver Allison Wilson is psyched for a new start in 2013 after a lackluster 2012 season, which saw her finish 48th in points scoring only one top five. She moves into the #64 which her husband Nick Azure led to a 9th place points finish last season. "I can't wait for this season to start already. Last season was a disappointment. Now that I'm in Nick's car, hopefully I can be as competitive as he was in this car."

In other news, the team officially announced that it has shut down the #06 team that Wilson drove last year clamming lack of funding. It is believed that the funding for this team went to their new TM Lights team, as well as the crew.

Alright, I'm gonna attempt to make a promo this year for NRC. If you'd like to have your car in the promo, please send it to me by March 16th. Otherwise, any car competing in the season opener will be due March 26th. Part-time sign ups will be up either tonight or tomorrow.

Apparently I didn't make this clear, since I've seen a few cars with this problem. The series logo on the decklid is meant to stay there. You can copy it and make contigs to make the car look more complete, that's fine. Just keep one on the decklid, please.

Also, remember, to all part time cars, I need schedules with your ratings and cars. If someone hasn't painted your car yet, I would still advise you to send me ratings (and schedule if you have a part time car).
