RROL Announces Last Minute Changes to 2012

After the RROL had been bought, and the schedule established for the 2012 season, rumors began to spread that the RROL was lacking budget-wise. Teams continued to prepare, though, and the series began testing.

However, in a shocking statement just a week before the season was slated to begin at Daytona, series officials announced that there would be a change in many things, including the points system and the schedule. With these funding issues the series seemed to be in, reports were that they were looking at more short tracks, and a shorter schedule. Officials said that they will still make trips to Daytona and Clairmont, but that many other tracks would be eliminated from the schedule. They added that the full schedule should be announced in the coming weeks.

Also, there will be a new points system, that supposedly will look similar to the ARLA Elite Series points system. Officials haven't released any other details on the matter though.

Just gonna bump this because I'm not sure everyone who has a driver/team in the series has noticed the series still running.
