IndyCar Series - Honda Indy Toronto
The IndyCar Series is back in Canada this week in Toronto. The entry list hasn't been released yet but I'll be going to the race this year.

I went in '09 but couldn't go in 2010 or last year so I'm pretty psyched.

I wonder if this year will bring any shenanigans compared to last year.

With Barnhart gone and a new race director that's strict, I doubt we'll see this attrition.

Nice. I think this would be a pretty cool race to see in person.
Anyways, I'm feeling a Scott Dixon win this weekend.

Re: IndyCar Series - Honda Indy Toronto
There has been a serious accident in the garage. The #18 car of Justin Wilson came in contact with four crew members in some way. The crew members were members of the Dragon Racing and Daly Coyne Racing teams. All crew members were taken to the infield care center. Two were released, and two were taken to the infield care center. Wilson did hit a tire barrier in practice while reacting to Alex Tagliani wrecking, no idea if that had something to do with it.
EDIT: More details emerging, Wilson said he saw the crew members, and tried to avoid them, but they had their backs turned. One of the Dragon crew members is one of the two going to the hospital with a leg injury. He is apparently awake and alert though, according to team officials. Another one of their crew members is already back to work.

I think there will be more shenanigans because the backstretch (Lakeshore Blvd) Got repaved which means more grip under braking which also means more divebombs into turn 3. PKligBKFan where are you sitting cause I hope you are gonna be at turn 3.

Re: IndyCar Series - Honda Indy Toronto
Charlie Kimball has balls of steel.
ABC has been doing a good job of covering the action. Ryan Hunter-Reay is on fire. He's really prooving to be a serious contender.
EDIT: Damn. Newgarden ruined a great run. Full course caution.
EDIT 2: That finish....was like watching the world falling apart. Americans 1-2. Mike Conway finishing 3rd for A.J. Foyt. Kimball finishing in 2nd. Awesome race.

Missed all but the last 20 laps. Cool.
The finish was nothing short of Nascar-esque driving.

Bourdais whines and blames the wrong guy for his crash. He's like Kurt Busch without the psychotic radio rants. His attitude is the reason why he's driving a crap car.

He's like Kurt Busch.
Except he didn't get sacked from a championship caliber ride for "verbally abusing" a reporter
And he won four straight championships instead of one
And he doesn't threaten people
And he whines when someone actually screwed him over...

Whatever. I don't care for Bourdais. In his Champ Car days, whenever he lost a race, it wasn't because he wasn't good enough that day, it was because someone jumped the start, or his unwarranted diatribe against Doornbos at that race at Mt. Tremblant where it was raining, and Bourdais said Doornbos blocked him, when there was spray going all over the place, and refusing to shake his hand on the podium afterward. Then at Toronto the next week, after their collision, Bourdais got booed by the crowd in Turn 3, and, from what I read, looked at them like they shouldn't be doing that, when, you know, being a bad sport on a weekly basis kind of gets you what you deserve.
The only time I have ever respected Bourdais was how he drove in the V8 races at Surfers Paradise last year. The rest of the time, he comes across (to me, anyway) as someone who thinks everything should be handed to him, and like he's never done anything wrong, as the video below will disprove:

Bourdais comes off to me as the Human personification of the French Stereotype.
