an important update!

right now I'm living in New York with my mom, and she has no internet, so I'm using my phones WiFi, and my location is not the best of coverage, so downloading anything is going to painfully slow (not to mention, my internet gets slower when I use up 5 MB of data), and on top of that, it likes to kick me at random times, especially when someone's calling me. so instead of having a 2012 season, as I'm planning on being here until at least September, this will be the 2013 season, but don't think I'm pulling the plug, no. this gives me time to plan everything...

Street Stocks to go to the Worlds Fastest Half Mile, but with a little surprise.

The 2013 campaign of ARLA Street Stocks will make it's sixth race on the schedule at Bristol Motor Speedway, but it's going to be on dirt, something the track hasn't seen in 11 years. it's unknown if the West series is going to a dirt track, but it's being considered.

I've been meaning to do this for a while but here's the points for the 2013 season, and they are the same as the 2010 season.

another update, I took out Thompson and put Lime Rock instead, and added Infineon for the west, so for the Road Course ratings will be 50-50 (I edited it in the first post).

also, if I don't have to work this weekend, I'm going to toss out entries from members that havn't been around in a while.

and yet another update, me and Ceej are talking about putting manufacturers in the street stocks seeing as how I have time until 2013. Once we get it all said and done, I will allow people to choose a manufacturer, so any schemes anybody has sent me won't be used, as they don't have a manufacturer.

Personally I think it should stay as "underfunded".

I find this a bit funny. Me and ParaLanche have worked out a possible deal for Graphite Max to sponsor the 96 and 98 cars.

Possible Daytona race?

Thankfully it won't be on the Superspeedway, but ARLA officials are looking into making a short track on the backstretch. There are also rumors that it could be a doubleheader between East and West. Another rumor is that it will be the night before the Tornado Alley truck race.

This will mark the first time that the lowest ARLA tier will show up to the famed Speedway.

(OOC: BBoy found a picture of someone working on the track earlier yesterday, and if it comes out before I GET ALL THE CARS *AHEM* *AHEM*, it'll be on the schedule. I did a race at the one that's out already and there were no survivors (I also had cautions off for more pain), and I hope this one is a tad bit better.)

OOC: Awesome, I'm running Daytona in DeWalt Cup but I have 5 SuperSpeedways in the schedule because I'm a lazy fucknuggut, if it gets released let me know.

It's not the exact same layout as the Superstretch circuit was. Rather than the pits being at the chicane, it's on the inside of the track instead. I've tested, AI are pretty good, 35 stalls it fits too

Daytona event confirmed, it will be a companion event to FARCE Modifieds
One of the hottest rumors in Motorsports has been confirmed. On July 20-21, the ARLA Street Stocks will be at the new Daytona backstretch oval.

The race is going to have both East and West drivers competing in the same race, a lot like what the Rockford 75 is. due to lack of pit space, the qualifying procedure will be the same as Rockford, top 10 in points in both regions will be locked in, and a qualifying race to determine the last 2 spots.

It was speculated that the Street Stock race was going to be a non points event, but it was announced that it will indeed be a points paying race, and it might shake up the championship battle if there is one (if the first west driver finishes 4th, he will be awarded with 80 points rather than the 100 that is awarded for the winner).
