Race 9: Calder Park

Quiet 12th Down Under For O'Reilly

In only his second ever race held on an oval, Andrew O'Reilly did very well. He stayed out of trouble once again, and brought a clean car home 12th. He started 9th on the grid for the race at Calder Park's oval facility in Australia.

"Aye, another good showing. Kept within sight of a bunch of the other leaders, and we brought home another clean Speidel. This run, along with other good runs, helps little with the points, since our season was kind of done early on, but it's still good to get seat time. I won't be surprised to achieve another podium or even win within the next couple of races. Hopefully I can come back once again to the Westockin Speidel Racing Team next year," said O'Reilly after the race in the pit lane.

No word has been announced regarding the future of O'Reilly at the Westockin Speidel Racing Team, but many officials and team management were rumored to be very pleased with the young Irishmen's performance this season. We'll see within the next couple of weeks if any word comes from the team.
