RealTomDelgado: Okay, people asking me why I took the stance I did on the MCMA drove me to clarify my position. When I made my comments, I made them with my team owner hat on, speaking on behalf of MRD Motorsports. In my rush to say what I had on my mind with said team owner hat on, I neglected to consider that I drive for a team part of said MCMA. Even though I've now clarified my position, it doesn't change the fact that I'm probably out of the 37 at season's end, even if I wasn't already retiring. I just felt I needed to get all this off my chest in the open, since I'm not speaking to anyone amongst the media vermin who I know are going to try and put words in my mouth. #humility

AMRossini48: I agree with the MCMA, they supply other teams with a chassis to use. This costs money to make the chassis. If they don't get the chance for entrance, then teams that are using their chassis and gained entrance have been able to make money while putting their supplier into trouble with the bank. Selfish if you ask me.

packer71: In my opinion, all those teams clamoring for a "provisional spot" are just looking for a cheap way into the race. If you want to race in the Karjala Grand Prix, you have to EARN your way in, just like everyone else.

GWoodard41: @AMRossini48: Our chassis is supplied by the manufacturer itself, this saves the team a lot of money. We are forced to cough up the dough if we crash a car (and its our fault).

GWoodard41: Even being the factory team we wouldn't be able to be in the MCMA, now, how would that be fair? You would be denying one or more teams who have factory or manufacturer status from getting a free pass.

However, what I don't like is how teams that have bought their chassis from other teams and manufacturers believe that it's wrong for them to believe they should have to pre-qualify. It still seems very selfish for people to say this.

SteudlerTM74: My team gave me permission. My opinion on the MCMA, while I somewhat agreed with, was misguided. I think one should be rewarded for having a good season, but it should have gone more for a case by case basis. You get wrecked while having a good run in a q-race, it should be looked past. You are having a garbage run, or you can't show you are going to be competitive on race day, tough.
