These are probably the same idiots that protested the Montreal Canadiens because they hired a coach that didn't speak a lick of French.

Exactly right. French Canadians are some of the most ignorant people you'll meet. To add to that, they are young naive 17 and 18 year old high school students.

They're protesting a planned increase in student tuition fees, to be in place by 2017.
The funny thing is, from what I've read, Quebec has the lowest tuition fees in Canada, and still would after this planned hike.
