IDR to Rent the 86 out During Japan Tour
In an Ike Durbin, Inc. press release at Quincy, team owner Ike Durbin announced a shocking plan--to rent the 86 out during the Japan tour. The planned driver to rent out the 86 will be Japanese Street Car Champion Ryo Akuzaru. Akuzaru reportedly will carry the Bloody X sponsorship as well, and will run the same scheme as Ike Durbin will run at the one-off races. Akuzaru, who has been testing various stock cars over the past few years, will run all three Japanese races in the 86.

Rhylen Scored Career Best, Continues Move in Points
Despite not being known for being much of a Short Track driver, Mac Rhylen escaped the ARLA Round of Quincy unscathed, and scoring his best career finish on the way. In his short career in the ARLA Elite series, he has one top ten--at Road America. However, he then scored his first top five at Quincy, finishing fifth at the end, beating out Barton Sandy in a spirited battle at the end of the race. After being 66th in points after Daytona, Rhylen continues his march to the front in points, as he has now climbed his way up to 23rd in points.

Rhylen Back in the 86x for Japanese Tour, Rogers in at New York?
Mac Rhylen skipped the Karl's 250 at California due to his father having a heart attack and ending up in the Bakersfield Hospital. At first, it wasn't known whether Rhylen would be in the car for the Japanese tour. However, during the month long break, it was announced Mac Rhylen would be back for the Japanese tour, in the 86x that he piloted for the first twelve races of the season. Rhylen had this to say, "I'm really excited to be back in the 86x, especially for Japan. I've been wanting to run these races all year, and I'm really excited for it.
However, there are reports that Kellan Rogers impressed owner Ike Durbin enough while subbing for Rhylen to earn her another go in the 86x later this season. Indications are that this race could end up being New York, in which both Tiffany and Ryan Matthews are expected to run.
