Re: NFL Post-Season: Locked
Ugh, my Titans didn't make it. But, they made a valiant last-minute effort. We'll get 'em next year.
As for the teams that ARE in the playoffs, I guess I'll be pulling for the Lions. They've been the laughing stock of the league for so long now, and it's refreshing to see them do well. That, and Matthew Stafford's no slouch in the QB position.
I know, scary isn't it?

I'll be hoping for a Baltimore - Detroit Super Bowl. But frankly, so long as the Patriots and Steelers don't make it, I'll be happy

My gut says I have to agree with you. But, this is the first time since 1999 that Detroit has been in this position. So, I'm not going to say anything until it's over.

I generally have no one to pull for, however, I do like TT, so I guess I'll be pulling for Denver this time in the Playoffs, although they have no shot against the Steelers, that defense will kill poor Timmy.

^Ditto
And I am also shocked that the Bengals made it this far, considering how much turmoil has been going on with Carson Palmer and the Bengals and the team losing some players last year. I'm amazed the 49ers have been as good as they've been this year. Being that I grew up near the NJ/NY area, I'm going to pull for the Giants, even though they might not have the best shot of making it to the Super Bowl, but we all knew what happened on the year the Giants won it all in '08.

Re: NFL Post-Season: Locked
Glad to see them win their 1st playoff game in franchise history. I was concerned about them being that they had trouble keeping their QBs heathly. Seems like they really don't need one to play good. I'd like to see the Lions win this game, but Saints might win this one. Then again, we all know what happened when the Saints played the Seahawks last year.

They've been playing well so far, aside from that one safety. But, honestly, there really wasn't much Manning could do about that.

That was an awesome game. I'm curious to see how the G-Men will do against the Packers next week. That and the Saints-49ers game should be really good. Time for the Steelers-Broncos game to start!

As much as I think Denver is going to get knocked down a peg vs New England, they played a great game today.

So, according to the stats, Tebow accumulated 316 yards overall against the Steelers today.

I honestly think the Steelers didn't have much of a chance to win, being they had a lot of injured players to deal with. Not to mention, I was pulling for the Broncos to win this one. Also, the fact that the Broncos keep on trolling and fans keep hating with a huge passion is hilarious.

Re: NFL Post-Season: Locked
This weekend's schedule:
Saturday:
4:30 P.M. Eastern Time - New Orleans Saints VS. San Francisco 49ers (FOX)
8:00 P.M. Eastern - Denver Broncos VS. New England Patriots (CBS)
Sunday:
1:00 P.M. Eastern Time - Houston Texans VS. Baltimore Ravens (CBS)
4:30 P.M. Eastern - New York Giants VS. Green Bay Packers (FOX)
1st game - I'd like to see the 49ers win and I think they can pull it off at home.
2nd game - Screw the Patriots. I'd like to see the "God of Football" win this one, especially since I hate the Patriots.
3rd game - I think Baltimore will win this one but who knows what might happen.
4th game - You know who I'll be rooting for. Giants all the way. They came really close to beating the Packers in the regular season and I feel like they got a legitimate shot at it.

I think this week will go according to expectations.
New Orleans 34 - San Fran 24
Denver 13 - New England 27
Houston 21 - Baltimore 24
New York 20 - Green Bay 31
Houston-Baltimore should be the closest game and could go either way.
