- Delgado Gets the Double Tirade Bath as MRD Sweeps Decatur
After both Decatur races were won by MRD drivers Drew Eisenman and Amy Patti, team owner Tom Delgado had two buckets of TirADE poured on top of him. Despite the in-fighting at MRD Motorsports most of the season between him and Patti, the two shared a long embrace as all four of the MRD teams celebrated in victory lane with their sweep of the weekend.
"I know me and Tom fought all season, but I really wanted to give him something nice before I left. This win is for him and everybody at MRD Motorsports who took the time to teach me how to drive these things!" Patti said in victory lane. A jubilant Tom Delgado then praised his teams for continuing to fight even though an ARLA Elite Series championship was well within their grasp this season. "They just never quit at all, and that's what I like about these people that we've brought in. You don't necessarily have to be the best at what you do, you just have to have an infinite amount of resolve. None of our guys quit, and that's why we swept this weekend" Delgado said of his teams. "Amy and Ceej (Suiiju Dejao) are leaving us after this race, Amy's going to pursue other opportunities out of racing, and Ceej's headed to drive for Kurt Walker, and I wish'em both well. Just a warning to Kurt...you're gonna be spending a lot of time taking him to B.B. Wolf's!" Delgado added, laughing as he held both race trophies over his head, one in each arm as his drivers Drew Eisenman and Amy Patti sprayed each other with Smash Beer.

- Spoiler:
- On to Rockford for Eichholtz
"I think this is our championship to lose, to be honest. I ran CRL, I've ran street stocks, I've ran Thunder Trucks, so I know how to get around short tracks. It's only a matter if we step up our game and if Kevin and Allie have bad days. If those stars align, it's ours." Eichholtz said on the third step of the Decatur podium.

- Patriot Racing sees race go up the Wall in first round of Decatur
Barry Spengler, who had an issue with Reibert Scott when he somehow failed to listen to his spotter and swerve right into the driver. Barry found himself in the wall towards the beginning of the race. Spengler, who was the only driver able to have a shot at the top 20. Decided it was best to force himself into a situation where the team couldn't even crack the top 30.
"I swear I was clear." Spengler told reporters who had questioned him, "It was Scott who ran into me. I'm personally glad I'm out after the end of the season. Everything about this team just plain stinks."
Team Owner Gerald Lamb had no comment, the other driver at the track, Kelly Splison somehow found a baseball bat but was held back by her crew as she screamed at Barry for his recklessness.

- Savage Thrilled with 4th Top-10 of Season
"This has really been a wonderful run our team has been on lately," Savage told reporters. "I told our crew, you know, at this point, we've got nothing to lose, so we're going for the win each time we're out on track, and we aren't far from getting one!"
Petrov Happy with Top-10; Not Happy with Quiggles
After a drag-race to the finish, where Nico Petrov was just edged by Ebenezer Quiggles, Jr., Petrov and Quiggles were involved in a big crash near turn 3. Petrov was interviewed by reporters following his release from the in-field care center.
Reporter: "Nico, are you alright?"
Nico: "Yes."
Reporter: "From your perspective, what happened out on track between you and Ebenezer Quiggles, Jr.?"
Nico: "He beat me to the finish line, and then we're driving along side by side, so I gave him room going into turn 3 to let him in front of me.. and then he moves up and takes both of us off."
Reporter: "Have you spoken with him about it?"
Nico: "Not yet."
Reporter: "Anything else you'd like to add?"
Nico: "I'm not happy about having a good car torn up, but I can only wait for the ruling from officials."

- Spoiler:
- Eisenman Ecstatic with First Win of Career.
In his third career start in the ARLA Elite Series, Drew Eisenman took home his first career win. "I'd just like to thank Tom (Delgado) and everyone else at MRD for giving me a great car this weekend. We had been using old cars for the past two races and this weekend we finally brought a new car that was made for me and it showed. Hopefully this win means we can secure some more sponsorship for next season, because as of right now we only have about half the season covered." When asked if this momentum would carry over to next season Eisenman replied, "The momentum, no. But I think we know what direction to take the program now. We can build off of this weekend and work towards the championship next season."
