Ted Christopher (1958-2017)
Modified ace and legend Ted Christopher was killed in a plane crash today in Guiford, Connecticut. I know of, but I also know that the 2003 Mohegan Sun 150 at Watkins Glen International for the NASCAR Busch East Series was the first stock car race I got to watch in person. 6 years old at the time, I got to see Christopher win that event. Always remembered his name since. Today is truly a sad day in the modified community.
RIP Ted Christopher

(Busch North, Casey.)
Aside from his Modified exploits, he was a nine-time track champion at Stafford and won 99 races at Thompson. He's raced in all three major NASCAR touring series, and even had a couple appearances in the Rolex 24 Hours of Daytona.
He's going to be missed, that's for sure.

RIP TC13. He won the first race I ever went to at Stafford, and several more on top of that.
