2017 Belgian GP
Formula 1 is back after a rather quiet summer break with a weekend at the Spa... I might need that at this point. Interesting little tidbit, this is the last race before my first day of college. Anyways, let's get to some headlines entering the last part of the season.
Can Vettel Hold On?
Entering the Belgian GP, Sebastian Vettel is just 14 points ahead of Lewis Hamilton and 33 ahead of Valterri Bottas. If Sebastian does manage to hold on, he will become a 5 time F1 drivers champion, 2 behind Michael Schumacher. He will need to keep on winning but there is a high possibility he can do it.
Sauber Denies Honda
I missed this during the lead up to Hungary. Midfi...backmarker team Sauber has decided to not take support from Honda and will keep receiving Ferrari engines. While Sauber has not been a world beating team this season, they are not at the bottom of the barrel which is held by Honda powered team McLaren. Honda, however, is not done yet as they are trying to get the services of Toro Rosso.

A few trustworthy BR sources actually point both RBR and STR getting Honda engines, which was the original plan when Honda showed its intention to join.

Hamilton domination. Force India not playing nice again. McLaren's engine troubles. Nothing new.

- Winners of the Belgian GP:
Lewis Hamilton: Winner on his 200th start
The Hulk: P6 to help their campaign
Romain Grosjean: P7 grabs even more points for Haas
Kevin Magnusson's Car Control: Thank you Kevin for not plowing over a few drivers entering the final chicane
Haas: They have eclipsed the point total they finished with last season
- Losers of the Belgian GP:
Max Verstappen's Car: You obviously like to break down constantly
Force India: At least that confrontation was better than McGregor and Mayweather's
Honda: You might as well give Alonso a pretty large bonus to keep him from going apeshit
