Shell Belgian GP - Formula 1
Formula 1 is back after the long summer break at the longest track on the schedule, Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps. Daniel Ricciardo won last year's race which featured controversy with the Mercedes duo of Rosberg and Hamilton. Sebastian Vettel won last time out at the Hungaroring.
Rosberg was fastest in practice this morning before something went wrong with his Mercedes with practice winding down. Marcus Ericson suffered the same fate.
The race is Sunday.

Re: Shell Belgian GP - Formula 1
Now I'm kind of rooting for a delay on Saturday's Bristol race so I can get up early on Sunday and have another triple.

On the other side of the spectrum, everyone wants in at Haas.

Statement regarding @Daniielde_Jong - He's been taken to hospital for assessment. He's conscious. More information will be given in due time.
Re: Shell Belgian GP - Formula 1
Sheesh if they actually want to enforce that, might as well start them off 5 laps down :pBWardboy88 wrote:My god........................

He left the car under his own power so seemingly no threatening injuries.
Meanwhile in GP3, 3 virtual safety cars proved how complicated the system is now. The end to the first VSC saw Ocon begin to speed away when the VSC Ending signal was given before slamming on the brakes in realisation that the VSC was still in place. Then, race leaders Ocon and Ghiotto went from a 9 second lead to around 3 seconds due to the 3rd VSC, with 4th and 5th placed Kirchoffer and Fuoco closing in further. I don't like the system so far.

Yep, good championship Hamilton -_-
At least Grosjean got his first podium in 2 years so that's okay.

The championship was his already, even long before Rosberg forgot what points racing was...
Yes, I'm still bitter about Hungary...

Hey, Ferrari knew the risks. A one-stopper was always going to be a tricky endeavour today.
