NASCAR at Kansas

Cup entries: http://www.jayski.com/news/stats/2016/story/_/page/31-Kansas-2016-Entry-List
NXS entries: http://www.jayski.com/news/nxs/2016/story/_/page/30-Kansas-NXS-2016-Entry-List

So assuming nobody goes all Joey Logano and causes drama this weekend, we should have two calm races in America's heartland. This is the first race weekend of the Round of 12 in the Xfinity Chase.

Notes:
* CWTS regular Jennifer Slow Jo Cobb returns to racing the cars as she makes an appearance in the 25 for Rick Ware.
* NXS Cuppies: Austin Dillon (2), Kyle Busch (18), Joey Logano (22), Kyle Larson (42), Regan Smith (88).
* No Obaika cars on the NXS entry list, but expect them to show up.
* Erik Jones will make his 100th career Nationwide/Xfinity start this weekend.

Happy birthday Morgan Shepherd! He'll be racing this week (hopefully) at the tender young age of 75.

Because the Chase has actually made things somewhat interesting despite the weekly Cuppie rofl-stomping.

Really boring weekend, only other non-nascar stuff this weekend is WEC.

Also one of the few different guys in Nascar is a title contender. That's my reasons at least. (Even though i haven't watched Xfinity in like 4 weeks.)

This will piss off the anti-Chase people, but I've haven't payed much attention to Xfinity all this year until the Chase started.

Well thanks to Comcast, but I missed the last 30 laps. Saw Harvick won. This chase has got to be one of the worst in the history of the chase in my opinion.

The Chase this year, the Chase format, or the Chase in general? Any way, you're not wrong.

Well, that was something. I'm okay with Harvick winning the race seeing as how he has done well all race and did what he needed to do after last week. That race ticket was worth it.
