OOC: Ummm where the heck did my second car go? JINX Racing's #45 isn't anywhere... I know the #47 crashed and wouldn't start the race... But I'm not happy that the second car isn't here...

*raises hand* I forgot to send him the cars with the updated templates. I had the same issue with the #67 and Forgot about your cars. Sorry Joel, I'll rework them and send them out soon.

Re: (Super Series Race 1) Texas World
- Spoiler:
- Bayne's Career done after horrific wreck
The driver of the #36 car for Gameline Racing, Tristan Bayne has suffered injuries that have been announced to be career-ending after suffering a horrific crash during the first Race of the 2015 FARC Super Series Season at the Texas World Speedway. The accident took place coming out of Turn 4 on Lap 43 when the #44 of Casey Lester got into the back of the #51 of Kiefer Glanville, and Lester went down the track and into Bayne which caused the two cars to stick to each other. Bayne plowed the Pit Wall head on at such a ferocious speed that it flung his car backwards and to a stop before pit road. Bayne was airlifted immediately to a local hospital where his Medical Condition is currently unknown, but the extent of his injuries indicate that he won't be back racing anytime soon. No replacement has been found yet for the 36 car.

Re: (Super Series Race 1) Texas World
- Spoiler:
- Lester critically injured in horrific accident, medical condition unknown
The potential turnaround has ended almost before it had begun.
After one of the most horrific crashes at Texas World Speedway in recent memory, Casey Lester and Tristan Bayne were swiftly airlifted to a nearby hospital for treatment and diagnosis of their injuries. The accident was triggered as Lester and Kiefer Glanville made contact exiting the fourth turn, then shooting the 51 car down into the 88 of Angel Gray, setting off a much less severe wreck down the frontstretch, but the 44 then became hooked with the 36 of Tristan Bayne and they were unable to separate before uncontrollably slamming into the end of the pit wall, which some fans said after the accident "shouldn't have been that far out to begin with." Lester's #44 Verdant Lenard hit the wall at about a 75-80 degree angle and spun around violently like a top for about 5 seconds before coming to rest on the inside of the racing groove in a heap of metal with the engine knocked loose in the impact. Bayne's impact was perhaps even worse as he came to an abrupt stop and actually went backwards due to the impact, coming to rest inside the #36 Gameline Racing-eentered Saar before the pit wall he helplessly had clobbered. The ambulances and paramedics rushed onto the scene and there was a hush that washed over the speedway.
Both Lester and Bayne's medical conditions have not been revealed at this time, but it is nearly certain that neither driver will race again in the 2015 season, if ever again.
(OOC: I'm honestly unsure of how injuries could apply for that wreck. I'm thinking possibly neck, leg and back stuff, as well as a concussion from the whiplash. If anyone has any ideas, feel free to message me about them.)

- Spoiler:
- Riley Durbin Not Cleared to Start Smash Beer 500 After Lap 1 Accident
15 February 2015
The debut of the new FARC Duckroll Super Series, while highly anticipated and greatly competitive, may well become regarded among the most disastrous races in FARC history, after vicious crashes have left three drivers injured, two of whom critically.
Today's OpenCarryAssault.org 100, unfortunately, will most likely be remembered for the horrific accident that has endangered the futures of competitors Tristan Bayne and Casey Lester. After a frightening head-on, high-speed collision with the end of the unprotected concrete pit wall on lap 43 of 50, both drivers were air-lifted to a hospital, and are reported to be in critical condition. It appears doubtful that either driver, if they survive, will ever race again.
A seven-car pileup that occurred on the opening lap has also left Focus Autosports driver Riley Durbin injured, although his injuries are much less severe than those of his less fortunate fellow competitors Bayne and Lester, who race for Gameline Racing and Ike Durbin, Inc., respectively. Durbin's spinning car was struck in the driver's side by the car of Robert Prescott, and it has been reported that the impact has resulted in the injury of his left foot.
As a result of the accident, Durbin will not be cleared to start the Smash Beer 200, which will begin later in the afternoon. He was scheduled to start the event from the outside of the car of Leslie Riggs on the front row, but his team will now be forced to find a replacement driver and almost certainly forfeit their 2nd-place starting position. Unconfirmed reports have claimed that Focus Autosports personnel were seen talking to a fill-in driver in the infield care center, although the alleged driver and the legitimacy of these reports are both unknown.
Those occupying the grounds of the Texas World Speedway have yet to receive any official updates on the medical conditions of either Tristan Bayne or Casey Lester.
