Nascar Weekend at Kansas

Round 4 of the chase, Points reset, and 4 racers will be eliminated after Dega. Last time here, we had a really nasty wreck involving Allgaier and Gilliland. Harvick almost ran down Gordon at the end, but the 24 sneaked out a win. Also Danica had her career-best finish of 7th (And had a top 5 car). Is she going to repeat that performance? Jimmie has the best average here, with a 7.6, including 2 wins. Clint Bowyer is always a contender here, at his home track. Also, don't count out Biffle, (Even if he's complete crap lately). Also, we may have a wreck fest

The Nationwide Series makes it yearly race here. Sadly Cuppies are here, so yeah.... Kenseth won here last year, beating Paul Menard and Regan Smith. Points leader Chase Elliott, has never ran here, but has a 26 point lead over Smith, so he has some space to deal with any mediocrity. Best avg finish. Kenseth with a 7.7

Patrick's best career finish was 6th at Atlanta. 7th at Kansas was however her best finish at that time.

Kevin Harvick on the pole (shock horror ikr). His 3rd Kansas pole in a row, and 9th pole out of the last 37 races (just under 25%) dating back to Kansas this time last year. Before than he only had 5 poles from over a decade long career.

Ty Dillon wins his 3rd career pole.

For the season? Larson can get 2nd six more times

2nd, 6th, 2nd, and 3rd in all of the Chase races for Larson so far.

Can we let Larson close the deal for once please?

Decent race. Had the recent Kansas craziness we've come to know.

Penske now has a winning rate of 1 in every 3 races.

Kyle Larson does the best in what is by comparison a sub-par team better than anyone I've ever seen. He's come close to winning a race this season so many times, but his problem is being able to close the deal when it matters most. Nevertheless, if anyone is going to replace Jeff Gordon when he retires, Larson fits the bill perfectly.
