track problems

I'm having serious rage-causing problems with tracks that I've downloaded. I've downloaded about 15 tracks since the start of the month, and 3 have worked, even though some of them have been on the same site (not counting the index-like lists) where one of them worked. Notably, I have 3 versions of Rockingham UK and a lot of short tracks that don't work, the 2 I need for my series. It's not like the track folders only came with 4 files, each had like 40 and had exactly every same ones that the tracks that came with the game. Also, some tracks I've had for months have had their folders completely emptied. Any ideas?

I'm not sure what the problem is.  I hope it's just because a problem with my old as hell laptop and the index.  I have a downloaded version of the game, 1.2.0.1 I believe.  If it is just an issue with my old laptop, I can download the tracks on this one and transfer them over, I know that's fixed whatever problem about half the time.  Also, does anybody have a Rockingham UK?

It depends on what mod you're using, as well. For instance, if you're using the LMPv2 mod, it uses GNS physics, so if the track you're using with that mod isn't working, you will need to go to a different track folder and copy a file called fast.gns.sim to the folder of the track that isn't working.

And make sure the track you're looking for isn't in a folder within the first folder. That will cause the track not to load as well.

Ok, on the right is track that came with the game, so I'm assuming it's the fewest amount of files needed to have a track load on .cup, which is what I'm using.  On the left is a track I downloaded.  What files are missing?

It's safe to assume you're running the last version of NR2003 (1.2.0.1), right? Because if not, get it.

Did you get the Shared Folder update from Revamped Reloaded? Try installing that and see what happens.

Just download the most recent one? They say it's compiling a lot of older updates. Anything else after I download it? Do I move it, where do I put it, etc.

From what I've heard, a lot of tracks for NR2003 are only compatible with Simulation mode and not Arcade mode. I've never used Arcade mode personally so I wouldn't know but you could try checking that.
