Another good run for Tucker ruined by other people at Quebec
Ashley Tucker was on course to have another decent finish in the points before being punted off the course by Brandon Lareau towards the middle of the race. Tucker had worked her way up through the field just weeks after winning at Darlington but Lareau turned Tucker exiting the corner where Tucker hit the left side wall and spun around. Tucker did not score points while Lareau finished 2nd.
"There was really no excuse for it." said Tucker "He had a faster car, but instead of trying to pass me cleanly, he dumped me. I'll talk to him about it. On a good note, we're at a short track next, so hopefully we'll have a good run there. It's where our form has been this year, so maybe we can score good points."
Tucker failed to score points again at Ohio the next week despite showing good speed and running in the top 3 early in the race, and as a result she fell to 12th in points, the lowest of the Lynxe Women's Racing Team drivers.

Taylor Victorious at Quebec
After scoring his first victory of 2013, Cameron Taylor was thrilled. "This feels great. That battle with Brandon at the end was incredible. I had a lot of fun out there." The win is the Ohio native's second career TM Lights win. Oddly, both of these have occured in Canada. Taylor also said he hopes this win will be the launching point for another bid at the championship. Last season, Taylor made a serious challenge for the title by having a strong finish to the season. He ultimately finished second to Troy Adams, although he did win Rookie of the Year.
He also addressed rumors concerning the team's paint scheme. "No, No. I don't think we're going back to the green car of early last year. It'll probably be something minor, like making the roof white with a blue number. Our spotters have had a hard time telling it from the No. 67 car, so we need something to do that."
