Brian Vickers to miss rest of 2013 season
Michael Waltrip Racing driver Brian Vickers will miss the rest of the 2013 season with blood clots in his right calf. The question now becomes will he be ready for Daytona next season and who will run the #55 car for the remainder of the season and who takes over the #20 in the Nationwide Series. Nothing has been said from the JGR camp, yet. Michael Waltrip was scheduled to run Talladega this weekend, but a driver announcement will be made this week about the upcoming race. Brett Moffitt is also in Charlotte and he will apparently test the #55 car this week. Also MWR has informed its employees that they will only be running TWO full-time cars in the 2014 season.

I swear he has the worst health in the garage area. (Maybe second worst next to Eric McClure, depends on what you think is worse blood clots or acute renal failure better known as kidney failure).

I really hate it for him. Hopefully he'll come back and be as stronger than ever.

Vickers plz. ;______:
Really sucks to hear it came back. The sad irony in this is CNN ran a report yesterday about him recovering from having blood clots.

The guy can't catch a break. Hope he's able to come back in full form for 2014.

That's too bad. I hope he can recover before next season comes around. He's a talented guy, but he just has no luck.

Elliott Sadler will drive the last 4 races in the 55.
