Two years ago to this day...

...the world of IndyCar, and the world of Motorsport lost one of it's finest and most talented Race Car drivers it's ever had, Dan Wheldon. Wheldon was involved in a horrific 15 car crash in the Season Finale of the 2011 IZOD IndyCar Series at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway, and later succumbed to his injuries.

Still to this day shocks me how violent that wreck was.

Hard to believe it's been 2 years already. 

I still find it sad that we didn't see how well he'd do in the #27, and knowing how he practically knew the car inside and out, he would of won the championship.

In my eye's, last years championship wouldn't be very competitive. From the amount of experience Dan had in that car, he would have marched away from everyone!

It's best to remember such a great driver but his greatest moments.

It was one of the worst days of my life. Cannot believe it's been two years. RIP Dan.

Honestly, I almost forgot that it's been 2 years since Dan Wheldon passed away, as much as his death shocked me. R.I.P., Dan Wheldon.
