ARLA Officials want more short tracks on the schedule
Coming into the Waltham 250 weekend, ARLA CEO Jen Walker revealed to the press that series officials are in talks with promoters at multiple short tracks across the nation concerning the 2012 ARLA Elite Series schedule.
Said Walker, "The sport started as a short-track tour with occasional visits to the big speedways and road courses, and we want to go back to those roots. Right now, we're hoping that well over half the races next season will be on short tracks."
ARLA officials are reportedly negotiating with promoters from Piqua Fairgrounds in Ohio, Orange County Fairgrounds in New York, Rhode Island Raceway, and St. Louis Fairgrounds to get those tracks added to the schedule.

I'm glad that a major sim racing series is mostly going to be primarially on short tracks. Could we make suggestions?

I think this could be fitting for a league like ARLA, which started as any other short track league.
Personally, I don't think either of those tracks are worthy enough for ARLA. Martinsville maybe, but Bristol doesn't have a chance. The tracks I'm thinking of are much smaller.

Bristol has had a lot of fail with the TM Junior or Lights Series last year.

Even though the Las Vegas Ceej used this year is a 1.5-mile track, keep it, it had some great action this year.
