Probably not as many as you would think being this is a big race. I hope Bobby Gerhart just...doesn't win. Other than that, it should be interesting to see how Kyle Larson will do on a super speedway. Knowing him, he'll probably get a top 10 finish, if he can avoid half the field that is.

Re: 50th Annual ARCA 200
Any possible legitimacy I had for Dexter Stacey has been lost. Fitzgerald is basically another Peterson entry. Should have recorded my reaction to the finish of last year's race because I called Gerhart to win it and went ballistic when he did in that fashion. I knew Tommy Praytor couldn't run his own tem and that Hixson would buy it out or something. Same goes for Charlson. Duno's running a full season, so RIP field. Kurzejewski and LeMastus are actually legit and might sneak a Top 10 or 15 somehow. Clifton is driving Fast Track's buyout of- I mean, Basham's #34.

Re: 50th Annual ARCA 200
I heard from Stacey's Facebook profile that he needed a superspeedway start in order to race more Nationwide races at the bigger tracks. And seeing that this is ARCA's biggest race of the season, I highly doubt that we'll see any start-and-parks.

Well, it listed Hixson as the owners, so I thought he owned them. Kinda like Hixson and Levi Youster a couple years back. The ugliness of Youster's car is undescribable...

The main reason Dexter Stacey is running with the Peterson car, is that if he doesn't have some kind of Superspeedway experience, he would not be permitted by the Nationwide Series to run the Daytona race in NNS.

Re: 50th Annual ARCA 200
That's actually Dexter Stacey's car from what I know, it's just using Peterson's points since the #06 had like 20th in points last year.
One thing to note about this year's race is that the field has been shortened from 43 cars to 40.

yeah
and problem is I counted 44 entries, with two of them being TBA's and one team already having shut down (#58). So one poor saps gonna DNQ from this race.

Why did they shrink the field down by 3? Doesn't make a whole lot of sense to me.

I'm half tempted to say if that happens, Cooper can make my driver the fail driver of 2013 in the TM Master Cup series, but with my dumb luck, it would happen

It's things like this ^ that ruined the ARCA Hall of Shame.
Stumbled upon another "ARCA fail" thread from another forum. Unfortunately 2 pages in it turns into "I don't like the paint scheme so I posted it" and "herp derp they stole Jack Roush's #99!" I also don't get the accusation's of stolen cars. Yes, a small ARCA team purchased a Cup car & simply removed the logos, but it doesn't mean they "stole" the car.

Then someone posted this, and I think it sums up what happened to their thread

Did I say they stole the car? Then again, I was stupid for not thinking that Roulo was a Roush development team and I'm not sure if I knew that when I posted that. But would cars with stolen numbers not be considered ARCA HoS-worthy or not?

Number fonts don't belong to one team. So therefore, it's not really stealing.

Venturiniwinslol or VenturiniwrecksandGerhartwinslol. LOL Roger Carter's fully-sponsored and appearing to be funded #97 qualifying last, ahead of James Hylton, who I think missed the field. Julien Jousse actually looks pretty strong in the #94 Blackburn ran last year. I'd say pretty much 6th and higher are all who could win this race, based upon qualifying, but with the draft, it'll maybe be the Top 14 or so.

You have to take the Turn 1 wreck into account.Casey Lester wrote:Venturiniwinslol or VenturiniwrecksandGerhartwinslol. Oh, yeah. Forgot about that. Well, who would start it? Milk N' Donuts?

I had a feeling it was Leiner... So there were 45 cars if I see 40 in the lineup and 5 DNQ's.
