Duno and JWT on the front row?! It's a good thing that asteroid missed the Earth...that way we can all watch the train wreck that's going to result from this.

Assuming that they wreck, which is a 65% yes and 35% no.

I'll be honest. I would rather see Bobby Gerhart win this race than Milka Duno or JWT. Kyle Larson, please, beat all 3 of them. Whatever it takes.

Nah, I just want someone like Kyle Larson to win. And I'll still want to go for Donnie Neuenberger as he is my Roll The Dice pick, even if he is starting 26th.

You'll be lucky if Donnie even finishes the race as he tends to either get caught up in the big one or cause it most Daytona & Talladega races.

Haha indeed. I'm going to Daytona now, so I won't be back on this Forum for about the next 13 or 14 hours or so, so see ya. Very Happy

So... having STEAM BLOWING out for 11 straight laps doesn't make you realise that you should go to Pit Road & fill it up with WATER

Interesting finish, and Gerhart doesn't win, which is surprising, but that doesn't excuse the fact that this race was ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE.

Okay race. First part of the race was absolutely hilarious but the second part pretty much was a snoozer.

Townley Wins. Only in ARCA does this make any sort of sense but in fairness he's been looking better in the past year as he wasn't too terrible in Trucks or Nationwide. Gerhart blows a certain win with a flat tire.

Not going to let the second half crap on my high for racing right now.

Also lol at the people mad that Townley won a race...Could've been Gerhart again ya know.

Keep the car clean for the most part last year in both series he ran in last year. It's like you think he walked into this one...He has the fastest car in the field, even if Gerhart didn't have the issue he was the only car that could challenge him and probably could've got him. This year is going to be Townley's make or break year as he's got a ride at Red Horse and he needs to prove that he isn't that one caution per race.

You're not edgy by saying Townley sucks anymore.

that's irrelevant, he finally showed that he can finish a race without wrecking, which shows that just maybe, MAYBE is the key word here, that he is finally getting his shit together, last year if I remember correctly he actually did pretty well in trucks.

So even if he has had a reputation with wrecking in the past, he's showing that he can improve and at least stop being a guaranteed caution every race.

He may be a pay driver for his dad's restaurant, but being a pay driver doesn't mean that you're forever going to suck.

and don't give me crap about "Oh it's a Superspeedway". He was one of the best cars all race, it's not like he walked into it like the Nationwide race last year where everybody wrecks in front of him.

It's the TV thing. Cooper explained it perfectly when he attended the 2012 Chicagoland Cup race, the battle for 30th could be 3-wide and really dicey and awesome to watch, but because the producers focus on the leaders, the race seems boring. That's why I could never watch Sprintcars on TV. You could never provide a trackside experience through a TV.

I honestly stopped focusing on the race about halfway through, either the drivers weren't capable of racing each other or they just wouldn't.

This race is basically ARCA's Daytona 500. Each team has funding for the full race because it's probably the biggest payday of the year.

I've been pretty hard on John Wes Townley, but I really do hope that he can actually be competitive. Maybe he's finally turned things around.
