RG#18@RealTomDelgado: The problem with most 3rd party candidates is they stand for issue and not much else. At least with numskull #1 and #2, they have a major stand on more than one issue. If their was a 3rd party candidate that had a strong agenda, I vote for them in a heartbeat. The other problem is most of this country has ties to one or two special interest groups (unions, minorities, religious groups) and once that machine gets running it's hard to beat it.

BenAtkins84: Well, I haven't really spoke out about my penalty, but I'll take the time now. You can't expect people to go three wide to get out of the way. I tried to at times, but Charlie Waters never really gave me a chance. I appreciate that he actually apologised, and that incident isn't really the one causing the problem. The incident with Devereux is giving me the problem. Look at the replay, I was about to move up to let them 5 or 6 cars by, then Devereux just turned me. I find it ironic also that he was bitching about the backmarkers effecting the championship, but his bitching, that more than likely got me a penalty, actually effected my chances at the Independent's Trophy pretty heavily. I still had a chance, but I guess since I got in an incident with the golden boy, I get fucked over instead, and get the penalty. Whatever. I'm just pissed off right now. I still agree that they should never have patience, but if your petulance influences a situation (which I feel it did), then just get out; cry yourself to sleep, not to the press.

Rainman231: @BenAtkins84 We've both had terrible seasons, I don't have a single top 5 in ARLA..you just have to remember that idiots have cost us good runs as well as mechanical failures. Not your fault. In Master Cup, it takes time to get acquainted to the cars..you and me both scored top 5's. Then in Dash Cup you aren't running many races so it's hard to establish continuity. Whatever series you race in next year, you will do great, trust me.
