Waltrip to race Montana Raceway Park?

Michael Waltrip supposedly is racing at Montana Raceway Park, just a couple of hours from my hometown of Frenchtown.

Anyone got any thoughts on this?

Am I the only one that would expect him to run at Milka Duno pace?

This is for the K&N Pro Series-West right? If so, he'll finish like 4 laps down...

he will just finish top 5 cause of him being a part time cup driver (you run cup you automatically gain speed in any lower series), + i think he is running for mcanally, which is a very good K&N west team

Am I the only one besides Dk that thinks he actually might do good?

I hope he crashes.

He's not a terrible driver. You can't win TWO Daytona 500s and be a junk driver. One 500 can be just by luck, but for 2 you need some skill.

Because winning one due to taking the lead as the rain starts to fail requires no luck. Not to mention the DEI cars were legitimately superior at Daytona and Talladega.

Yeah, at Talladega Earnhardt, Jr. made like 18 pit stops with tape and everything on his car and won the race...

I think it is the K&N Pro Series West division. It's not the NASCAR Dodge Weekly Series.

I don't expect Mikey to finish this on the lead lap at all. Too slow.

It seems everyone completely forgot about the last time he raced in the series at Pheonix, where he finished 3rd, on the lead lap.

As far as this race goes, I have no idea what the track looks or drives like so I need to see it before I make a prediction.

Edit: Just got a look at it via google and wow how difficult, its a short track. Don't exactly see how Micheal won't finish on the lead lap here so count me out of the Waltrip bashing train.

Looks fun though since it actually has banking and abit more room unlike the majority of ones I see on the schedule.
