If you told me that if I had to put down a dollar down on Williams or Pastor Maldonado to win a race, and getting $10,000 in return, I would have told you I had better uses for that dollar!

I must tip my hat to Pastor. A mature, masterful drive under the pressure of Alonso and 50,000 Alonsomaniacs.

Another good race. Seriously this F1 season has been nothing short of Amazing so far.

Gonna be honest, I'm surprised Pastor won that....Thought he was gonna wreck under pressure of Alonso getting him. GW Pastor.

The first time 5 different teams and manufacturers have won the first 5 races of a season since 1983. I never thought I would ever see Team Williams win a race. I'm so glad for Frank Williams and the rest of the team.

inb4 seeing the most epic F1 race ever at Monaco.

Man, he drove the wheels off his race car throughout the whole race despite that small pit blunder. Big congrats to him and his team!

one thing I find kind of cool is that both of the first time winners this year won it from the pole position.

Bad news from Williams though, the team had garage fire that did some pretty bad damage to Senna's car.

A Williams mechanic suffered minor injuries while a member of Force India suffered from smoke inhalation, but their injuries are not serious.

Pastor Maldonado rescuing someone from a fire. He pretty much went from being almost a nobody to potentially one of the most well known drivers in F1 in one day. Talk about a hero.

nobody has said anything about the nature of their injuries yet, but it doesn't sound serious. keep in mind that "smoke inhalation' qualifies as an injury, so it could be as simple as that

One more note on Williams: when Toyota was around, Eddie Jordan suggested in an F1 Racing column that Frank Williams sell the team to Toyota so they could turn it into a factory team for Lexus.
