New Grand Prix for F1 in 2016

Azerbaijan has claimed that it has done a deal to host a Formula 1 Grand Prix for the first time in 2016, and that the race could take place in the streets of the Country's capital city, Baku.

They have held the Baku City Challenge for the past 2 years in the FIA GT. Well organised and the track, for a street circuit in Eurasia, was very good too. I don't think they will use the same circuit, some corners are really too tight for a single seater. And the FIA GT, now Blancpain GT Series, have been able to attract quite large attendances but then again ticket prices are about 1/5th of F1.
