[2012 TM LIGHTS] #24 Vampire Steaks car

Again, still a WIP but just getting the basic look of the car in place. And WHOA! What happened on the rear there?! The wire layer didn't show that huge gap. That skewered steak logo is going to need some finagling on there or I'll have to just put the VS text in it's place.

Comments/suggestions welcome as always.

That's because the back bumper (top) is part of the main body when painting.

Also, are there any chrome layers for this template? The only one I found came with the base I used on the #1 and #24 cars-- but it's for the T-Bird.

On the template, the area for the top of the rear bumper is right next to the area for the rear decklid. I'd be willing to bet that there's some black bleeding over. You can use the wireframe layer to check that.

What I did on the 16 car was to turn on the wireframe layer, than use the freehand select tool to select the general area of the bumper as shown by the wireframe. Then I colored that part in.

I think the numbers might be meant to resemble steaks, hence the pink outline.

Well, what's weird is that that area is on the layer labeled as "rear spoiler." On the car viewer, that are showed up as the front part of the rear spoiler too. scratch So I duplicated the layer 2 or 3 times and that helped to finally color in the front part of the rear spoiler but it seems to have made that other area black as well.

Actually, I think that's how they were on the previous versions of the VS car. You can see the #s a little better here:



I think it gives the #s a creepy 3D kind of vibe.

There ya go! I think it also serves to break up the #s a little bit from the base as well.
