What have you been playing lately? Post your progress and such, as well as any gaming-related items you come across.
Personally I've been playing Skyrim a lot. Just finished up the main quest, and now focusing on getting my enchanting and smithing skills to 100. I've also been going around murdering people in Whiterun. The only people that remain are the children, Belethor, Sigrid, Olfrid Battle-Born (can't be killed), Jarl Vignar Grey-Mane (can't be killed) and his family (except for Eorlund Grey-Mane, who was a victim of my battles with the guards after I got caught killing a Dark Brotherhood target), and the people in the taverns.

Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword, though I'm stuck at the volcano at the moment. I've also been playing a TON of Starfox 64. I actually lost track of how many times I've played it through. I've also been playing an old favorite of mine, The Beatles: Rock Band.

Played F1 2011 for the first time at a local shop today. I raced as a HRT at Monaco in the rain. Lots of fun.

MW3 is my main game right now. It's pissed me off lately though. I started playing Black Ops again. When I play racing games I'm normally on Grid or F12011. I busted out NTG11 a few days ago after about 4 months. As crappy as it is, I can still find some fun out of it.

I've played RCT 1 and 2 for hundreds of hours in my lifetime. SO much fun, especially to a little kid that would be wiling to ride amyrhing. Or a teenager still willing to ride anything. I was never much for RCT 3 though, not really my style.f1fan12 wrote:

Haven't played a video game for quite a while, but I think that NTG 2011, F1 2011 and Gran Turismo 5 as they have amazing online racing.

RollerCoaster Tycoon 3 was an unsuccessful attempt at taking the franchise in a different, more complicated direction. As much a fan of the complicated as I am, I couldn't get into it. I have RCT1 and 2 on the computer though, ready to go at a moment's notice.

I've been switching back and forth between Portal 2 and Portal: Still Alive lately. Between those two, Forza 4, and WWE 12, I'm pretty much set - until MLB 12: The Show hits.

NTG11... amazing online racing? Umm... no. If you like drivers crashing every 5 second, epic lag, and 9 year olds who think they know everything about NASCAR and talk the whole time then I guess you can like it. I prefer offline on that game.

It's just what I think. I think it might still produce good racing online, it don't make a difference to me.

I prefer the older games from the 90's...Grand Prix series (currently playing both GP2 and GP4), as well as Papyrus' IndyCar Racing 2 and Grand Prix Legends (GP2 and ICR2 are available as DOS Abandonware).

when you go in reverse, you can literally break the speed of light.
not to mention the game is so broken that you can't race against the AI, collision detection is practically non existent, and in one level, you fall through a bridge. one of the levels will crash your game. along with that, there's the ever so failtastic "You're winner", The game occasionally fails to distinguish between whether the player is starting or finishing the race when they pass through the starting point, and so this congratulatory screen may appear within seconds of starting a game, ending the race before it even begins.
How non existent is the collision detection? you can drive UP a near vertical mountain and still maintain speed, you go through buildings, trees, and practically any obstacle in the game, along with that, YOU CAN DRIVE OFF THE FREAKING MAP!
At least in Zoo Racer you can race against the AI, there is collision detection, and none of the levels crash your game.
I'd rather play Zoo Racer than play Big Rigs: Over the Road Racing.
