Clements plans full season effort: Jeremy Clements Racing has announced it will be running the full 2012 Nationwide Series schedule. Sponsorship is actively being pursued for the family owned and operated Clements Racing Engines #51 Chevy. (Clements PR)(1-14-2012)

Jeremy Clements is actually a good driver. You just seem to think that if a driver is underfunded, he sucks. I don't think you really understand NASCAR.

Would also make drivers like Alan Kulwicki, Bill Elliot, and Darrell Waltrip fail drivers at some point in their career. Granted D.W. was when he had his own team.

If you are in a good car and somehow can't do much with it, you are a fail driver (see, in some people's opinions, Dale Jr., or, for a better example, David Ragan) . If you are in a bad car, and make it into an even bigger joke, you are a fail driver (see Kevin Conway).

If you are in a bad car, but can't do much with it to begin with, I am not going to rip on the guy.

Damn right he impressive. He did more with that car than you can shake a stick at. Was faster than both of the Prost's, and at times was racing with the Benettons, Arrows and even BARs at times. Case in point: Took provisional pole from Villeneuve in Indy and beat both the Arrows, Frentzen's Prost, Panis's BAR at Japan and throughly whipped teammates Marques and Yoong throughout the season. That dosen't sound like a fail driver to me. And he outperformed Trulli and Fisi from 03' to 05' so he was far from shabby in the time before he took the world title.
