Re: Two Issues
For the first issue, when did this start happening? Was it fine until you installed a mod, or a no-cd patch?
What hardware are you running, are there any background programs running? Have you recently installed programs outside of mods/patches for your game (if neither apply, then ignore)
Have you attempted to revert to default graphics?
Have you attempted to go through the 3D Graphics set up, if you have, have you tried:
16 Bit DX3D?
OpenGL?
As for the second issue, I cannot help you with.

It's been like this since the install. I didn't pay much mind to it but I started getting annoyed because it looks bad. I haven't added anything aside from tracks (but this issue was there long before that).
I used the NR2003 Tweaker tool to get the graphics set up, but I'll try to reset it to see if that helps
EDIT: Tried everything, seems like there's just a problem with the Cup mod.

Re: Two Issues
is the second issue track specific? Are you running race @110% AI?

Re: Two Issues
Have you updated your video drivers, or uninstall them and reinstall them? (Don't do this if you're using a laptop or a onboard video card
If you have Dual Video Cards, only run one when playing this game.

100% or less. It's PWF version of Kyalami just for information.

I only have one card, so let's see if there are any updates. It's only the one mod (is default cup a "mod"?) so i could just reinstall it (I have it on a backup hard drive)

Re: Two Issues
Well, it defends, if it is the default cup mod, that's what came with the game install, if it's a PWF mod, just redownload the mod and replace the files, you may have to reinstall the game and download the patch.

It's the default cup mod. I just deleted it and put it back on from my backup, that seemed to do it. No idea why that just worked
EDIT: Figured it out. It was my pace car that was screwing everything up.

ummm I think it might be an issue with the track and can only be fixed via sandbox

Re: Two Issues
Okay, I think I got it fixed.
For anyone who wants to use Kyalami, this is what I did:
Basically, just change merge_to_pitline_dlong from 3000 to 2300 or lower. It seems to correct the issue. What I think is going on is at 3000 the AI doesn't have the time to slow and adjust that it needs, so the 2300 is a better "guess"

Re: Two Issues
Update:
Well, it's not totally fixed, but I have collisions with the pit wall far less now (30% of races vs 100% before). I think the pit lp lines...which would require sandbox which I can not use. This should be...fun...yeah, fun
I'm going to try to tweak the INI to fix this without resorting to reinstalling sandbox, since it didn't work for me half the time anyway

Re: Two Issues
Does anyone have a working version of Sandbox? Mine (I downloaded it from The Pits) doesn't open at all. I'd really appreciate the help.

Re: Two Issues
You don't need Sandbox to work on LP lines.

Re: Two Issues
Which program do I need again? This is precisely why I hate editing tracks I normally (the three times I've done it) edit geometry and have a friend of mine do the LP stuff
