Moving on to our runner-up finisher, this driver managed to keep her anger under control this season (for the most part), and wow, what an improvement...

2011 ARLA ELITE SERIES SILVER TROPHY FINISHER: This driver has one of the nastiest tempers we've ever seen in a race car driver, and other than her two victories in her rookie season in 2008, that was about all she was known for. Boy, did 2011 change all that. Still possesing some of that snarl, but now focusing a little bit more on improving her patience and driving ability, she showed that with some discipline, she could be a major force in the ARLA Elite Series, although her attitude could be curbed just a little bit. Her win at Talladega and her arrogant interview afterward only served to fuel the fans hatred of her, but that didn't slow her down, as she also scored wins at Alberta and a big win in the 150 laps of Dwyer. In 2011, she scored 3 wins, 5 top 5s, 8 top 10s, and led 127 laps. She fell just 31 points shy of the championship, but this will be her first ARLA points trophy. Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome the driver of the #19 TirADE Tremwell for Riggs Motorsports, from Buffalo, Wyoming...

2011 ARLA ELITE SERIES MANUFACTURERS CHAMPION: The 2011 season was a battle between the SAARs of M&J Racing and the Tremwells of Riggs Motorsports. In the end, Tremwell scored just enough points to edge SAAR for the 2011 Manufacturers Championship.

Congratulations to Tremwell.

2011 ARLA ELITE SERIES DRIVER'S CHAMPION: He is one of ARLA's most consistent and successful drivers. In 11 seasons in ARLA's top division, he has been a top 10 points finisher and championship threat every year since his debut in 2001. In 2011, he finally put it all together. He piloted the #63 SAAR to 2 wins, a series-leading 9 top 5s and 10 top 10s, led 153 laps, and had 4 poles, including the last three of the season (Appleton, Decatur, and Rockford), which earned him the SMASH BEER POLESITTER OF THE YEAR AWARD. In addition, he also earns the COMPETITIVE SPIRIT AWARD for completing the most laps in Elite Series competition this season, with 1,417 laps. He also earns a share of the 2011 ARLA ELITE SERIES OWNER'S CHAMPIONSHIP as part-owner for M&J Racing along with Chris Johaanes. Tonight, he celebrates his first championship, and M&J Racing's third in the last four years.
