Senna to Nascar?
Out of Formula 1, again, following Lotus Renault's confirmation of Romain Grosjean alongside Kimi Raikkonen for 2012, Bruno Senna says he might follow the example of another ex-Renault F1 man, Nelson Piquet Jr., and look to a career in NASCAR if he cannot secure another F1 seat for next year.
"If everything fails in F1, then maybe it's time to go the United States and do something else there," Senna told AUTOSPORT. "It's very doubtful that I would go to IndyCar because I'm not keen on the combination of ovals and single-seaters, and I'm not sure my family would allow it. It would be NASCAR.
"It's important not to jump straight into the Cup Series, because it would be a big struggle. So it will be like climbing from F3 to F1 again."
Senna, 28, said he isn't totally focused on stock cars, however, and would also be open to a drive in sports cars or even a return to GP2, where he finished second in points in 2008.
"You have to be in the right team to win, and if you're not in the right place at the right time, you look like a fool," he added. "GP2 is only an option if everything else fails."
Still, Senna's first option remains F1, and he is believed to be a contender for the open seats at Williams and HRT – but says there may be some other openings as well.
"There are some teams that are up in the air a little bit about contracts, so all is not lost," Senna said. "The competition is strong and hopefully I will be one of the winners in this game of musical chairs."

Well, his uncle always wanted to race in the U.S. Why not the nephew give it a shot?

I wish him luck if he ends up going to NASCAR. I just don't know how well he'll do.

Senna is, as a friend of mine once said "Brazillian Wrong Driver".

Why be Indycar's equivalent of a road course ringer when you'd be more famous in NASCAR anyway? My $0.02

Go to Indy Cars, who have little to no publicity short of Indy or a tragic event, or go to NASCAR, who is still somewhat in the public eye. Choice seems obvious to me.

PLEASE NO. Bruno is nothing like his father and if he comes to NASCAR, he may as well retire. I think he'll race like crap.
