Vehicle mods
Hi guys, long time no see!
With the UK lockdown being as ruthless as it is, I've delved back into NR2003 modding after I came across my old Sandbox folder on a portable HDD (Bira and a small real-world Italian track have basically been finished and I'm planning on releasing those soon). I also found my file of old editing software and found a few source files for modding - basically, I wanted to know a rough process on the process. I'm aware that you need a 3d model for the exterior, wheels and interior with less than 1000-2000 poly count, 10 LODs, a damage model and then these need to be merged into make_x.xxx with a PSG script - are there any steps I'm missing?
I have all the necessary models with basic UV mapping for what I'm planning (thanks to F1 Challenge 99-02 which seems to follow a similar model structure), I just have no idea where to go from there. Any help would be greatly appreciated, this seems like a complicated journey...

The creator of the recent ICR mod is doing a tutorial series, though he warns that updates are not going to be consistent.
