[FANTASY PAINT] The Burton That Won the 2002 Daytona 500...
Second in a line of what-if fantasy paints is this Ward Burton special. The template is a 2006 Dodge Charger, and we all know who this is! Yep, it's our favorite Burton brother who...*clears throat, begins Ward Burton voice* won the 2002 Daytona 500 in the #22 Caterpillar Dodge for Bill Davis Racing *end Ward Burton voice*. Again, imagine if BDR went a different direction with the paintjob of the car, and decided to freshen up the scheme. Maybe, just maybe, it would look something like this...
BTW, don't mind the numbers being offset. I'm going to go in and fix that. Please do not judge the whole paint based on that alone. I thank you, and I'm sure Ward Burton would thank you if we could understand him
Base: Paint by RAH
Logos: MasGrafx
Contigs: MasGrafx
Template: Zone15.com

If I remember right, there was a little bit of red in the old BDR #22 schemes. Even if there wasn't, I truly feel that it looks good here. Besides, if I made the red part white, you wouldn't be able to see the Caterpillar side logos

I think there was some red when they had Cat Rentals as an associate sponsor.

A better question for both of you: Why not?
Seriously, a black/yellow car would just be too bland. Why be bland when you can be ambitious and try something different?

Yellow to red gradient flame job on a black car?

Flames would be taking the easy way out. It's a cheap way to try and make a car look cool. I swore to myself I'd never make a paint that had flames on it.
