2016 MMRL Season

The MMRL is a league I've been running offline for a few years.  It includes multiple racing divisions and after giving it a few months of thought, I figured I would give offline leagues another go.  I plan on running three, however each race weekend will be one video recapping all divisions that ran that 'weekend', with relatively short highlights for each individual division.  It seems like a lot, but I want to use 2016 as a test run to see if I can handle it all.

With that being said, three divisions are being run in 2016, those being:

Global Stock Car Tour (cascar mod; on a general watch-only basis, with the exception of Invitational Events)
MMRL Super Stock Tour (Gen6BR15; first come, first serve sign-ups)
MMRL Pro Cup (cup_cts [original cup with cts physics]; first come, first serve sign-ups)

For sign-ups, real and fictional sponsors are allowed.  You're more than welcome to give your drivers backgrounds in their respective leagues as well, though try to steer clear of championships.

Pro Cup entries should be in RED, while Super Stock Entries should be BLUE.
Real world manufacturers only, though I'm willing to make exceptions for a couple (Matthews, Lycoia, etc.).

2016 Ratings

The AI in NR2003 have set ratings that determine how competitive they run.  These are divided into three sections: driver traits, a driver’s track skills, and the team ratings.  Each of these will be utilized for the MMRL.

For driver ratings, each driver will start with a base rating, depending on which class the driver falls under.  This base rating will apply to each category in the driver ratings.

Driver Ratings Tiers:

For each classes, you may one of each ratings stack to each driver category:  -9, 0, +6, +12.  As an example, a veteran driver’s driver ratings may look like this:

Aggression: 62-82
Consistency: 56-76
Finishing: 41-61
Qualifying: 50-70

Road Course: 41-61
Short Track: 62-82
Speedway: 50-70
Superspeedway: 56-76

Similar to FARC, MMRL will have three team rating tiers: Solid teams, Wildcard teams, and Backmarker teams.  Your team’s ratings must be the same throughout the entire team.  For each category, you may add a -9, 0, +6, and +12.

Yes blue is Super Stock Tour and red is Pro Cup

I mean for the entries that were entered before you corrected the accidental color swap. The first dozen or so entrants made theirs blue or red, but then you made the correction-- do they need to switch out the colors?

Ah right, um I don't think so. It was just me who got them wrong.

Yes, sorry about the confusion.  V8Fan's entries were the only ones that needed to be fixed as far as the colors went

I'm not home right now but both entries (V8Fan and Snake) are good.

I'm happy with the field size for Super Stocks, so I'm going to relegate sign-ups in SS to part-time only.  Part-time sign ups will remain open throughout the season.

Sign ups for full-time Pro Cup teams and driver will remain open for a couple more days.  

I addition, if you want an additional driver or a driver but not a team (for anyone who hasn't signed up yet), there are a few openings looking for drivers:

Also I forgot to add, like FARC, it's your choice whether your team is a solid, wildcard, or back marker team.

Just over one week to get cars and ratings in for the first race!  I'll post an update with what I need soon.

Updated the manufacturer and sponsorship information on the P2M entries (also, the driver's name is Cragan, not Cragson  ).

Umm, I hate to be that guy, but is there any news on the series?

I know some people knew this, but I guess I never posted it here. :/ My laptop a few weeks ago essentially took a crap. I couldn't run anything and I ended up having to take it in to get it looked at. The guy ended up having to system restore to get anything done. I was working on finishing up cars to get the season started.

This league will definitely happen, but depending on when I can get everything up and running (it's running, but I don't have NR on it yet), I may push this back just a bit. We'll see, but this will happen.

On that note, to everyone involved or interested see this moved to 2017 or rush and get 2016 going?

As you're the one providing a league in which we can partake and reviews for us to watch, I'd say it's your call. If rushing takes more time/effort than what would allow you to enjoy running the season then I have no problem in waiting for 2017.

Or if you want to, maybe you could start running races for the 2017 season this year (creating several extra months to run that season).
