I can't honestly say I'm surprised, but this just leads more to the question of will Bowyer go to Chip Ganassi Racing? Or will he be sorted to finding a ride wherever he can get one? I think 5 hour will follow him regardless but I could be wrong.

Bowyer will find a ride especially with that big sponsor, but where? CGR has been mediocre this year, may be the best option though, cause nothing else big is open.

They've been MUCH better than they have in the years past. McMurray is going to finally make the chase, and if Larson wasn't in a sophomore slump, I guarantee he'd be making the chase.
I don't really like Clint Bowyer, or rate him that highly as a driver, but he'd be fine at CGR. He'd be able to get into the chase with that car easily.

Bowyer's not going to Ganassi, he and Kauffman agreed to split up. RPM's rumored to switch manufacturers, so they may be his best bet.

Hate it for MWR, they just emotionally haven't been there as a team since the Richmond silliness and it really puts Nascar in trouble full-field wise.

Damn. I hate seeing race teams shut down. Hopefully Bowyer can land somewhere decent at least.

I don't see where Bowyer would fit in at CGR - McMurray's having the best year of his career, and Kyle Larson is Kyle Larson. I don't think setting up a third car is much of an option for them either.
Sucks to see MWR go down like this though - but at least the team isn't totally dead yet.

And it was just three years ago that this team was on the doorstep of a championship.
Just goes to show you how volatile this sport can be.

I saw this coming, but it's still sad. Coming up next, Roush down to one car,

I saw it coming as well when Kauffmann bought a share to Chip Ganassi. You don't want to see a team get shut down and have people trying to find jobs to provide for their families. Hopefull Clint gets a good quality ride.

Well, one of the other drivers is beyond done (and isn't the best driver on the team contrary to what Jack thinks) and the other still hasn't learned how not to hit every damn thing so it wouldn't surprise me if this were to happen. At least the amount of Tri-Wrecta almost every race would be significantly reduced.
