Expensive NR2003 copies
Well today I'm not at school due to a cold (yes I'm sick) so I looked on Amazon and found 1 expensive used copy of NR2003 it was a $229 Canadian copy (no I'm not buying) but still that is really expensive for a game that came out in 2003 it was in good condition but we all know what Amazon does (not going to mention)

Re: Expensive NR2003 copies
Remember this is not a nr2003 game discussion this is outside the game itself as we are talking about prices now I might change the thread name to assosiciate it with all games

That still shows you after all these years, what a damn fine game that has become, and NASCAR and EA and what not putting a stranglehold on games by putting out shit for racing games.

NR2003 really blew up after Papyrus stopped producing the game. So what you have is a market demand for a game that there are not many of. Also having worked for Amazon. NR2003 is not a game that the company will purposely have on hand. Therefor outside companies that have the product will sell it on Amazon and ship it themselves. Those companies set the price.Dexter249 wrote:Well today I'm not at school due to a cold (yes I'm sick) so I looked on Amazon and found 1 expensive used copy of NR2003 it was a $229 Canadian copy (no I'm not buying) but still that is really expensive for a game that came out in 2003 it was in good condition but we all know what Amazon does (not going to mention)

eBay will be a better place to look, when I had a copy (no-cd patches means I have lost the CD while moving) I bought it for £30. That was around 5 years ago however.

I bought NR2003 from the Amazon.de (German version) 2 years ago and every new copy was being sold for like 30 euro (About 25-30 dollars). I just checked and now it has risen a tiny bit but now only used copies remain

Re: Expensive NR2003 copies
I got incredibly lucky with getting my copy of NR2003 by finding it at a Half-Priced Books store. It was only 5 dollars. I've never seen it under 160 dollars online, which shows how high the demand is. If only I could find some luck getting Earthbound...

You and me both. I've been looking for that game for 5 years.
There's actually a copy at my local retro game store, but it's $130 dollars, so... yeah.

I found cheapest on eBay is $70. This is only £45, expensive in a way but much reasonable than the £100 you can see elsewhere.
