Re: IndyCar Grand Prix of St. Petersburg
Man it's been too long since I've seen an IndyCar race. Hopefully this race will be the saving grace for what's already been a lackluster run of races in major Motorsports this year.

Holy Moly the 19 is slow. Dracone is 3.5 seconds behind Power, and 2.1 behind the next slowest car O_o

I think the latter pretty much might explain this season.

Don't know if this is the right thread to post this, but Pro Mazda driver Michael Johnson has been injured in a practice crash at St. Pete. He was put in intensive care due to fractures in the hips and pelvis.

He's also a paraplegic too, so I don't think the injury will stop him one bit. I hope he recovers well.Sparkz47 wrote:Don't know if this is the right thread to post this, but Pro Mazda driver Michael Johnson has been injured in a practice crash at St. Pete. I told you so.
Anyway this Chevy dominance is worrying. Hope it doesn't stay like this for long.

Penske fill out front row. Nice to see Bourdais up at the top, but disappointed where Luca finished. Dracone won't start last due to his q-group being faster, despite being 2.3 seconds slower than the next runner.

Re: IndyCar Grand Prix of St. Petersburg
I originally thought Rahal caused the original damage to Kimball's car - naturally, he then punted him off as if to make my outrage justified.
What a goddamn moron.

Alright race. Power couldn't make the move on Montoya stick and it fucked him.
Good win Montoya. Trying to throw it back to 99 Champ car i see.

Pretty solid race today. There were some fails, but that's too be expected from the first race of the year.

Re: IndyCar Grand Prix of St. Petersburg
I forgot to give my opinions on this race. Whoops.
Pretty solid start to the season. And a great battle by Juan Pablo Montoya and Will Power at the end. Once again, St. Pete does not disappoint.
The GP of St. Petersburg gets a solid 6.5/10.
