Scott Geared Up 200 presented by Federated Car Care

The ARCA Racing Series heads to Indianapolis for a Friday night race at Lucas Oil Raceway after a one year hiatus from the series. Frank Kimmel is the only driver in the field to have previously won an ARCA race at IRP, and sits third in the championship desperately in need of a good string of races. To get back in to the title though, he'll to beat Mason Mitchell, who is coming off his first career ARCA win last week at Chicagoland. The win helped take the point lead back, and he now has a 25 point lead over second place. The big story over the last few days has been second place in points Grant Enfinger. On Sunday night, it was reported that Grant Enfinger would leave Team BCR Racing, the team he won four races with this season. Then, on Thursday night, it was confirmed that Enfinger would leave and take the #90 team over to GMS Racing, the team that Spencer Gallagher and his family field, for the final nine races of the season. Team BCR Racing is still currently planning on running the #88 car in ARCA for Justin Allison part time this year.

The race will be Friday at 9:00 PM ET on Fox Sports 1.

I hope Enfinger has similar equipment to what he had. Sucks he might lose the title over this.

Speaking of Spencer Gallagher, where is he on the entry list? If he's not running full-time, I wasn't aware of it.

Anyway, it's been too long since I've watched a race at IRP (this race in 2012). I really hope that this track can host some more events in the future, although that doesn't appear likely to happen soon.

There's a channel on youtube called 'Michael McIntire' and he uploads Jeg's ARCA/CRA Short track series races. They raced at IRP already this year

Gallagher's running part-time since he's got Truck series commitments. Enfinger's running with GMS in conjunction with the failing Team BCR.

After Justin Boston decides to plow himself out of the lead, Brandon Jones stays perfect.

From what I know, the radio between Justin Boston and his spotter wasn't working correctly, and he didn't hear anything that was warning him about the parked #5 car. This isn't the first time that Boston has wrecked while leading, and it sounds like this one wasn't really his fault, either. At least he still managed to finish  in 8th.

Not quite an exciting race for the win at the end, but most of the race was very fun to watch. I love IRP!
