Integrated or dedicated GPU's?

Get a load of this folks......
I'm planning to get a brand new computer on "Black Friday" and everything else, but i'm into choosing between a low-end Windows-powered laptop PC with integrated/discreete graphics or the top-of-the-line version with a dedicated GPU (tablets and hybrids are out of the question) for video editing, web browsing and some gaming in between -of course it will be NR2003 and other similar games-......but i'm in a constrained budget and can only spend up to $500
With which one should i go? Help me on this guys......it'll be greatly appreciated
