2014 Gardner Denver 200 - Nationwide Series
The 14th Race of the 2014 NASCAR Nationwide Series Season heads to Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin at the Road America road course for the running of the Gardner Denver 200. Since this Race made it's debut in the Nationwide Series in 2010, it has provided a lot of entertainment. Last year's race was no exception which included Kenny Habul attempting to kill a sign, and Max Papis bitch-slapping Billy Johnson in the pit lane after the Race. Habul will be returning to this event driving the 20 car at Joe Gibbs Racing, but sadly no Papis.

Tagliani's in the #22! Now I'm hoping that that car will go to victory lane for the fourth consecutive road course!

If only the Cup Series used rain tyres for a Road Course if it would rain.

Welp, Ty Dillon's done something rare: he's managed to piss off Trevor Bayne.

Damn. Tagliani ALMOST pulled that off. If he hadn't been held up by Chase, he might well have!

Re: 2014 Gardner Denver 200 - Nationwide Series
That was a super drive by Brendan Gaughan and especially by Kevin O'Connell. Absolutely outstanding showing.
Re: 2014 Gardner Denver 200 - Nationwide Series
Wow, I may have not seen the finish but I never expected Gaughan to win of all drivers. Good for him though

That...was...AWESOME!!!
Well deserved win for Gaughn after all that ruckus in the race. And holy crap, where the hell did Tags come from? One minute he's passing Chase and then suddenly, he's just storming by O'Connell.

Nice job ESPN, further reminding us of why you will not be covering NASCAR anymore (Regardless of how good a point they made).
Re: 2014 Gardner Denver 200 - Nationwide Series
Best Nascar race of the year so far. Rain racing, wild battles, crazy moves all the stufs.
Brendan Gaughan wins....Cool to see him win but i'm trying to comprehend this from a 2014 standard, Great though. Tagliani came like a bad outta hell to the front 23RD TO 2ND! He would've had Gaughan by turn 1 if they had one more lap. Kevin O'Connell a 47 year old Trans-am driver finishing 3rd in the RICK WARE car, hell of a drive by O'Connell.
Shout-out also to backmarker-mania ruling the top 10.

Re: 2014 Gardner Denver 200 - Nationwide Series
Outstanding race, outstanding finish. After all the absurdity with the impending rain before the race had started, that was an exciting race, and some quite dramatic closing stages, what with fuel strategy starting to become a factor and then it all being thrown away with that last yellow, and then Tagliani running out of gas under yellow for the race lead, on top of serving three different penalties on pit road. Speaking of whom, I thought O'Connell had come out of nowhere until I noticed Tagliani went from 23rd to 2nd in two laps. My FaceBook feed tells me that was more impressive than the actual race winner, and I can't argue. Still though, good win Brendan Gaughan.
NASCAR, take notes. This is why we need more road courses on the schedule. I know I'd rather have a Road America Cup date than a Kentucky date and two Texas dates.

If O'Connell and Gaughan had engaged in a battle for the win, that also might've gotten Tags right into the fight.

Holy cow, Tagliani came sooo close! I can't complain though; that was a fantastic race, and a great win for Gaughan. I've been waiting 6 years for another NASCAR rain race! Not to mention Kevin O'Connell racing for the win!
