Luis Suarez has been banned from any soccer-related activity for 4 months for his bite on Italy's Giorgio Chiellini.
But he bit I think three different players including Chiellini:
2010 - He bit someone from PSV Eindhoven
2013 - He bit a player from Chelsea
2014 - He bites Chiellini
Congratulations Suarez, you became the first zombie in human history.
To me though, I think the punishment doesn;t fit the crime. Okay, yes he did bite someone and it's not the first time he's done so, but 4 months of not being allowed to do any Football-Related work is way too much. I think 2 months would've been fine.
"Way too much", my left foot. If a non-footballer did this at their desk job, not only would they be fired, they'd also be arrested for assault. But, Luis gets another slap on the wrist, and four months of training and sitting around his mansion, enjoying his millions. I don't feel sorry for this dickhead. He's a great player who chooses to be stupid.

4 months being TOO much? Are you kidding, it's not enough! I think he should have been banned from football for good...

+1. You make one mistake once, OK, you make the same mistake twice, , you make the SAME mistake three time, COME ON! Is Suarez retarded or deaf, because he apparently didn't learned his lesson.

Well I can have my say on his punishment, because I only went with it as the guy who Suarez bit said that FIFA's decision was too hard on Suarez.
Re: 2014 World Cup
The act happened in the aggression of the match. Suarez reaction came from his passion to win. Sure it's an aggressive action, but during a match you think entirely differently.

A friend of mine was at summer camp with me and we watched the game streaming from Univision in this lodge that had wifi. It was pretty epic.
Re: 2014 World Cup
And Chile are out, in the most epic match I've seen in a long time.

Re: 2014 World Cup
Failure to keep possession was what did USA in today. That led to the gaping holes in the defense which allowed the two goals to be scored. The lack of offensive bite until the last 15 minutes also played a part. You CANNOT, CANNOT, CANNOT, CANNOT, CAN-NOT live and die precariously through your goalkeeper if you don't have a defense of adequate skill to back him up!
Still, it was a successful World Cup for the United States. Escaping the group of death is more than the general public gave them credit for. If it weren't for a few unlucky bounces, we're in the Quarterfinals.

I had no idea a player who went to WVU was on the US Team. Of course the first game he played in we were eliminated...

So, Belgium just earned the right to get pummelled by Argentina in the quarter finals
Seriously though, Tim Howard almost won the match by himself. Props to him.

Tim Howard should be President. It's a real shame that the defense let him down by failing to keep possession

Re: 2014 World Cup
Brazil are getting their asses handed to them by Germany. The first half was brutal. 5-0!!
Is it that like a World Cup record for most goals at halftime or somewhere else?
EDIT: Now 7-0 Germany. Unbelievable.

Re: 2014 World Cup
But like seriously, how does a Country that has some of the best players in the world suck so bad? I know they had to go without Neymar but that doesn't mean they can go out and play as terrible as they did. I'm stunned.
Re: 2014 World Cup
I got that reference pretty well. And one thing to add, after the first half, people started to laugh, because it was so disappointing that it became funny.kensethfan wrote:bsoyuz wrote:The amount of jokes about Germany destroying Brazil right now is so big.

And Barney, this is one of the worse teams ever, even with the stats. Some stats indicate that this year's team is one of the weakest.

Sure they were missing Neymar, but of all the players they didn't want missing is Thiago Silva. Regardless of the fact he is the best CB in the world since Cannavaro, Nesta etc. he's also a fantastic leader. Very badly missed.

What happens if they beat whoever wins the Argentina v. Netherlands match in the finals? Do we get to annex the Sudetenland?

Sudetenland is in the Czech Republic, not the Netherlands.

Yes, I know.
And while we're on the topic of Polandball, a casual reminder that Argentina is playing a country today that actually IS white and European.

I may have not seen it but I've heard about it. When you are booed by your fans, you know you've let your whole country down.

Well, those were the guys that bought tickets to the final thinking that Brazil would be on it , because the rest was just making jokes . Mostly because when a game ends like Germoni and BR, you don't have anything more to do but laugh at it.

Well, the Germany Soccer/Football Team has now Anschlussed the Brazilian team, making nearly every Brazilian soccer fan cry, and they've shown Argentina who is REALLY white and European, something that The Netherlands had failed to accomplish, all in one week.
Congrats to them I guess. Now another four years until the World Cup hype starts over again.

So, I've recently found out this, related to the World Cup:
Yes, this would be a "newscast" reporting an possible North Korean World Cup win, and this appeared in several sites through the world. But it was fake:
*the hue is stronger now*
