Re: Leckliter Racing thread (spoiler alerts)
Daniel Leckliter not to run in CRL.
"I'm just going to focus on being a team owner, I still might run in one off races, but I think it's best not to run a full schedule."
He is still going to be Scott Morales' relief driver in the 150 laps of Dwyer, and hopes to enter himself in a one off entry in Rockford. However, there is rumors of a Part Time ride in ARLA in 2012, the driver is still unknown at this point.
Chris Winter to switch numbers in 2012?
It is said that Chris Winter will switch his number to #56, but this is not yet confirmed however. His sponsor, Yellow Trucking will stay.

Leckliter Racing to run part time ARLA bid in 2012
Leckliter Racing will do a part time schedule in 2012 in the ARLA Elite Series with the #56 Atten-Hut Lenard (that is if Ceej decides to lift the one team per chassis rule). This will be a shared ride however, CRL Driver Chris Winter and Canadian short track racer Lucas Flint will be the drivers for the car, it is also said they will share the ride again for the 2012 Dwyer Endurance race. The number of races the team will race is still being decided upon.

Leckliter to run Rockford
After the 150 laps of Dwyer, Daniel Leckliter annouced that he will attempt the Rockford 200 with 2 cars, #56 Atten-hut Cromwell that attempted Dwyer with Chris Winter behind the wheel, and Leckliter himself in something similar to the #493 Pokemon Black and White Omecha that never made it to the track.
"Seeing as how I no longer have backing from Pokemon, I'm removing the sponsor from the car and I might have to change it to Cromwell, but I will get the car on the track." it is reported that he will keep the number and the paint scheme, but it will be sponsorless.
He was also asked if his future plans for racing are, he replied "Myself, I plan on only driving in one offs in leagues that I have teams already in."

Daniel Leckliter explains why he's coming back to the TM Master Cup Series, and talks about his Independent Trophy campaign
"It's hard to keep a driver down. even though I've had a mediocre Master Cup Career, does not mean I'm giving up, I like being the underdog, which is why I'm giving the Independents Trophy another shot, that, and I want to finish it this time around."

(I'm going to try to keep this thread going, yes I am aware it's been a year since I posted on this topic, not like anybody reads it anyway....)
Leckliter in pre-race interview for the Rookie Shootout "Watch your step here"
Before the 5th annual Rookie Shootout, Daniel Leckliter said in a pre race interview "Drivers better watch who they wreck here, because of they take out me or Robert, their team is going to need security to escort them out of the track." Leckliter finished by saying "knowing some of these people here, they'll toss you in a lake, just let that SINK in."

Leckliter duo gives fans something to cheer about
The crowd was rather pleased with the top 10 the Leckliter brothers got during the Rookie Shootout.
"From 28th to 7th. Fucking awesome for the team. Me and Rob finished 7th and 8th, so I believe that we're going to be a force to be reckoned with in not only the 200, but the whole season."

BREAKING NEWS! Leckliter Racing bankrupt, will sell team.
After a dismal 5 years in the TM Master Cup Series, Daniel Leckliter has called it quits.
"Pulling the team from all entry lists is the right thing to do at this point, I can't so this anymore."
Robert and Daniel both pulled off astounding top 10 finishes in the Rookie Shootout before their announcement.
In a press release Leckliter stated,
"Leckliter Racing might be back in the near future, but it's not certain that it will be in the next two years."
"From a mediocre TMMC Driver to a person who blew his resources on being fast, it's
Our teams fault that it had to be like this"
Over the span of Leckliter's career, he only has one podium, at Spa in 2008.
Leckliter Racing will be sold to a sports car team for a undetermined price.
"Selling the team might give me enough money to maintain my Sprint Car team, but it's uncertain."
Before leaving, Leckliter, in tears, said "Now if you may, can you please look at the first letter of each line aside from this one."

Rather dismal day for the Leckliter Racing brothers at Daytona
A pit road collision not only took Daniel Leckliter out contention for a good finish, but he got penalized and lost 20 championship points, which relegates him from 40th in points to 50th.
Robert Leckliter's race went south after a piston failure took him out.
"This is a real frickin' embarrassment."
They will both be at Montgomery, where they look to improve on what happened at Daytona.

After top 15 finish, Leckliter Racing is Mexico bound
After finishing 13th in Race 1, Daniel Leckliter will step out of the 10L for the Mexico race and give the car to Lucas Flint, who ran a few races last year in the 056, where he got his best finish of third at Road America. The team now sets off for Mexico in hopes of topping the third place with a win.
"A win will be awesome for the team, and remember, what happens down in Mexico, stays in Mexico" Flint said jokingly.
The 10L is tied for 32nd with the duo of Nami Mura and Seiju Dejao in points, 107 points behind the leader.

YRC Worldwide drops sponsorship for Leckliter
After losing out on points at Carbondale, YRC Worldwide has dropped sponsorship with the Independents Trophy team despite having a good season last year, with two top 5's.
Later on that week, Leckliter signed on with Ridiculosyl, a cough medicine.
"Hopefully they'll COUGH up more money than YRC did. YRC can get the TRUCK out." Leckliter said.

Ridiculosyl pulled off of shelves, sponsorship dropped.
A month before the Darlington race, Ridiculosyl was pulled off of the shelves because one of the ingredients is something found in oil paintings.
Ridiculosyl president S.E. Aking announced that it was pulled from the shelves on Sunday and Saturday.
"This almost killed my company, if this fails, I can still go back to being a Boggle coach in Dallas."Sallad.
YRC will stay on the car for the rest of the 2013 season.

Re: Leckliter Racing thread (spoiler alerts)
it's a bump almost 6 years in the making! Figured I'd bring this back, because why not.
Leckliter Racing's 2019 FARC season begins with a withdrawl
With the injury of Ryan Barrett earlier in the month, Leckliter made the call to withdraw the entry from the San Antonio race. When asked why he didn't run the car himself, he answered "Barrett still has the keys." People are wondering what he means by this, as FARC cars do not require keys, and if they did, why he doesn't have an extra key since he owns the car.
