Ugly NASCAR Paint schemes.

This thread is opinion based. If someone posts a scheme you like, keep in mind, it's their opinion. It's not fact that the scheme sucked. So please don't verbally defecate on each other's posts, or each other for that matter.

good thing there's banking, otherwise I wouldn't be able to show the fact that both sides are different colors, both of which are equally retina burning.


Good idea: putting names on the car (easy to work into scheme, and can be done so it is barely noticeable). Bad idea: putting pictures on the car (you can see why)

In my opinion, I really can't class this as such an Ugly Car. Besides it was I believe only ran at the 2000 Coca-Cola 600 anyway, but I would've loved it if it ran more races though.

So much bothers me about this paint scheme.

The outline on the 3: why yellow? It's too close to the white and doesn't provide any sort of contrast. Solid white would have been fine, or outline similar to the 20 Dollar General scheme if they insisted on using yellow.

Black racing stripes: Okay, racing stripes. Because a yellow car with black racing stripes has never been done before, ever.

The black box behind the three makes no sense either. It seems like they were trying more for the "white three on black" motif than to make a unique paint scheme.

This scheme is just lazy, and honestly, as a Cheerios scheme it kind of sucks.

I recently joined a message board and they have a phrase that would accurately describe that car.

The concept has promise, it's just so lazily cobbled together it looks incomplete. But, considering it's apparently just a test scheme, we'll probably be seeing something much better on the track next year.

I thought it was a nice enough car, too. It wasn't the worst out there lol

Its not all that terrible, its just doesn't stand out. Its like all someone did was take the racing stripes (on a yellow car, which was already done with the 48)and just added slanted shapes to the sides.

Its a test scheme though so no big deal.
