- Leckliter ties his best Master Cup finish with a third place.
5 years ago, Dan "Clezl" got his first and only podium in TM Master Cup competition at Spa-Francorchamps. Five years later, Daniel Leckliter takes home a third place finish at Buffalo Downs, his best finish so far in ARLA Elite Series competition.

Phillip Borland: The New Bridesmaid?
Phillip Borland tied his personal best finish of second for the second time at Buffalo Downs. He previously got a second place in 2011 at Grand Detour.
"I'm hoping to get a win one of these days. It'll be some day...I hope..."
Zachary Zins claims he's been in a coma for months after wrecking out on the opening lap.
Zachary Zins was knocked unconscious following his wreck on the opening lap at Buffalo Downs, but was resuscitated almost immediately at the infield care center, where he panicked and claimed he had been in a coma for months and the season was over. After an emotional outburst that forced doctors to knock him out again with an anesthetic, Zins was cleared and brought back to his hauler where he woke up once again and continued his outburst.
"We didn't feel like dealing with him" said one of the doctors, "He said that Scott Morales won the championship because he killed him..."

Lora Ocean's debut not the prettiest but results in a top 10
"Sorry for the wreck I caused, but you know what, I am happy, I survived to the end of the race and got my first top 10 in my first start."

- Spoiler:
- Top 10 Goes Awry for Webster
Everything looked up in the 23 camp as Zack Webster rolled back in to Buffalo Downs, the same track he made his ARLA Elite Series debut back in 2011. Webster was riding momentum from an 8th place finish in his previous ARLA Elite Series start when the series was at Williams Grove Speedway, and he was fresh off of the silly season wire by picking up a full-time ride in the #41 Accelerator Motorsports car for 2014. Top it all off with a 11th place starting spot for the race at Buffalo Downs, Webster's week and weekend was looking up. His 11th place start was the best this season since starting 4th at Daytona. But just like Daytona, Webster saw a day of so much potential success unravel as the day progressed on.
"I gotta commend this entire 23 team," Webster said later. "The biggest problem for us this season has always been qualifying. I've wanted to become better at it with the way this car runs later and later in the race, and we really hit right where we needed to this weekend."
After starting 11th, Webster quickly picked up to the 9th position. He then spent a majority of laps there. "We were just riding around there in 9th. We knew the car would come in as the race got later and later, we knew we could probably pick up some more spots. Then the day just fell out from under us."
Webster brought out the second caution of the day after his car lost power in the dogleg and came to a stop. "We really didn't have that much of a warning. I brought it up out of turn two under power, then she just shut off and I couldn't get it going again." Webster on the radio: "Yeah, boys, she quit on us... Gonna need a push back to the pits here."
After getting the car back to pit road, Webster crew appeared to figure out what the problem was, as they sent the 23 car back out onto the track. The problem appeared to be fixed as Webster began cutting his way back through the field. Webster's day would take another hit as the engine failed on his car. The resulting sudden loss of power sparked a multi-car crash collecting Phillip Borland, Harry S. Enola, and Kelly Posadas. "I apologize to Borland and that entire e crew, along with Enola and Posadas. The engine went pretty violently, and I didn't have much control over my car." Webster finished 26th with is 3rd DNF of the season.
Webster did; however, look at the big picture in all of this after it took four Green-White-Checkered finishes damaged several cars. "Though we did get spun and all of that, most of these guys are leaving here with a destroyed car... We're only leaving really with a destroyed engine.
Webster will be starting in the next race at Karl's Superstore of Riverside next weekend.
