- Daniel Melrose: "To finish in the top 10 in just our second TMMC event despite the early accident, which was admittingly my fault, is an incredible achievement for both me and the team, and if we keep this form up, I believe we'll be more than ready to tackle the TMMC full-time in the future. Darren was also on for a very strong result, however he was involved in a rather unsavoury incident with Duff and while I will be the first to admit Darren should have given him more room, what Zach did is simply unacceptable and he should get at least a race ban for his troubles."

Amazed Henton Wins at Brands Hatch
Entering the weekend, Lynxe Racing had set its sights on getting both cars to the finish -- something that it had yet to do in 2013. Opening practice was not promising, as both of the team's drivers, Divina Henton and Mélanie Clévenot were languishing deep in the field.
Both drivers found some speed once light rain hit practice 2, and, much to their surprise, Henton took the pole and Clévenot took third on the grid in qualifying. Many in the paddock guessed that the Lynxe cars were on qualifying setups and would be roadblocks in the race, so much so that Zelda Ashby, who qualified second, was the pre-race favorite for the win.
"We were nowhere until qualifying, honestly." Henton stated before the race began.
"I don't know what will happen, we've got a good car but I'm not sure it's good enough."
During the race, that prediction appeared to be true, as Henton quickly dropped back whereas Clévenot was able to hold station. Later in the race, the Lynxe team was able to pit both cars quickly and make the right adjustments to launch both cars back into the hunt for the win. Despite a charge from Gaspar de Sousa, Divina Henton was able to catch Adrien Devereux and pass him late in the race to score her second TM Master Cup series victory.
"This was a team effort, and this is... this is just incredible to win here. It might not mean as much to some of the other drivers, but having a home race is special, and being able to win there is even better!" Henton said.
"I want to thank everyone who helped me along the way to this, especially Trevor Carrington, who taught me how to appreciate the small things in racing and to keep pushing, no matter what."
A stunned Henton had entered the weekend believing that victory was far out of reach, but wasted no time in celebrating with the at times overworked and underslept men and women of Lynxe Racing.
Henton's victory is also the first ever for a female driver/female crew chief combination in TM Master Cup series history.
Devereux: Blue Flags Need to be Enforced
Most drivers at the TM Master Cup series level might be overjoyed with a second place finish, unless, of course, they were robbed of a race win. That is what befell reigning champion and current points leader Adrien Devereux during the Round of England. Devereux firmly believes that he was on his way to a sure victory before troubles with lapped cars ended those chances.
"Some of these slow cars... new people or not, have no respect out there. They don't look at the blue flags or anything, they just get in the way and ruin the race of the people at the front." Devereux said after the race.
"Not to take anything away from Divina [Henton] or the efforts of that team, but they had a lot of help today... and even then she was still held up by the slow cars too... I felt that we could have won the race, but I'm just pissed off right now."
Devereux holds the championship lead over Welshman Michael Sykes and Englishwoman Divina Henton.

Woodard's hopes for a good finish drenched at the Round of England
While fighting Quiggles and trying to avoid other cars, Woodard wound up sliding up the track and losing enough positions to land him in 32nd. As much as he tried to make a recovery, he would finish right where he started: 18th.
"I mean, it wasn't anyone's fault but my own. It didn't help that my crew decided to release me with Adrian [Devereux] driving his car right by my pit stall. I guess the rain caused visibility issues and that led to the poor release timing."
Hopefully the next few rounds will go somewhat better. Woodard could have done well if he didn't overdo it during the race.

- Duff Rallies to Eleventh in England:
Four rounds are now in the record books for the 2013 season. In a rain-filled race that rewarded attrition, one beneficiary was the driver of the #74 for Mitchell and Sons Racing. Despite coming up a tick short of a top 10 finish, Duff couldn't be more pleased with where he stands in the championship order.
"I have grown to like this track over the years. The car was brilliant and was more than capable of a top 10 finish, so we have nothing to regret about today. My only complaint is that liability on the Melrose squad. I'm not sure if [Cardel] had a lunch date with the tires or if his GPS notified him of an imaginary detour. Either way, it's no skin off my nose because we actually finished the race. Looking forward to next week."
